I thought Sims and Alexander looked off last night. Their two leading scorers were their freshman point guard and junior post that just got back from ACL surgery, and it's usually Sims and Alexander. That along with Huntingdon being almost perfect (only missing 1) from the free throw line was the difference in the game. It was a pretty evenly matched, hard fought game by both teams. Westview needs games like that outside of district play to prepare them for district play instead of games against teams like Humbolt and Paducah Tillman!!

Westview should still be pretty solid. They lose some key players but still have Sims

I will say that the girls middle school basketball team is the worst I have seen ever at USJ! I saw them play at UTM camp and they were getting killed by teams. Martin was up like 32-1 on them and that was with subbing everyone!

Has Westview played in any camps? I haven't heard anything about them this summer

Westview has had their 2nd ACL injury now. One was right before season started and this one happened during Christmas tournament. Hopefully that is the last of the injury bug this season!

I think Westview's one downfall this season is going to be post play. They will have trouble stopping a good post player with size. Just my two cents on what's holding them back from being great this year
