Congrats to Upperman's D. They deserve it, but I guarantee you that out of 11 sacks and the blitzing you mentioned earlier that some of them were not the fault of the offensive line. When a team is in a position that they have to pass to get back into a game and they have no hot routes or screens,then they are fish in a barrel.

There are 5 linemen. If you bring more than 5 then someone else has a blocking assignment. If you bring more than 6 like you said was happening 50 percent of the time then you throw hot routes. That line has beat you 2 out of three games. Good luck to your superior athletes against Tyner.

You can cut in the box. The running backs cant but the linemen can cut in the box. Everybody holds. I was being held is NOT an excuse for getting blocked. IMO.

I would be worried about stopping Signal Mtn. If you can beat them then maybe you can think about state. In which case you will have to beat a Milan, CPA, CAK, or Alcoa, but beat Signal first. The Nolan kid did do it against Grace, but have you had a guy rush for over 100 yet, or was the ER defense too stout for you? 21 wont be enuff.

True. The Walters kid dominated that ball game. Not Zemen. 4 tds yes. 2 on runs of less than 1 yard. Zemen is great player, but Walters kid is too.
