Nic Purler's competition Camp during Southern Scuffle at Jones Center
summerball replied to durdon's topic in Wrestling Mat
Have you heard from many HS guys that are attending? -
Lets see Knuckleheads have 5 open spots. If just 2 of the Middle Tenn. guys would have stayed local a couple of those spots would be filled.(Michael Moultry at 95lbs, Job Dooley 100lbs and Patrick Dooley 170lbs)
-
What the heck are you talking about scraping the bottom of the barrel? Plenty of studs on that roster! But your right Bosken should have stayed off the middle TN guys.

Looking to get so Freestyle work in this off season. Who's doing it in middle Tn?

What teams are going to the Mt. Juliet Duals Tournament??
-
Sesnan at 106?? Didn't think he would be that big yet?? How did he look?? How did he do against MJ's 106??
-
How about this HSDAD. Why don't you find another thread to follow. Since you don't care about developing TN wrestling/wrestlers with the comments that you have brought to this thread. I think its a great idea. Whatever it takes to get these JV/freshman more mat time. We need more JV/freshman tournaments to develop these guys for when its their turn to be varsity.

Didn't respect Coach Smith. Find that hard to believe. Heck of a coach! Heck of a guy! Going to be hard to replace. Best of luck to Coach Smith.

summerball replied to knuckles1975's topic in Wrestling Mat
Guys I think we all know that this is the real John that showed his true colors in this thread!! Their were people here before him in AAU and there will be people running AAU after he is gone. He's not the end all be all for AAU. Give me a break. -
Congrats on the little guys!! How did the Middle School Duals turn out??

Why did TSSAA move the 1st weight class to 106?
summerball replied to summerball's topic in Wrestling Mat
man what up? you going to put a 95-100pounder on a 106pounder who cut from 110-112. get a clue. -
Why did TSSAA move the 1st weight class to 106?
summerball replied to summerball's topic in Wrestling Mat
okay. so what do the 9th or 10th graders do that are below the 106 weight class. are their tournaments that they can go to? with lower weight classes? -
Why did TSSAA move the 1st weight class to 106?
summerball replied to summerball's topic in Wrestling Mat
not sure. just know 106 is the first weight class in high school. i know it use to be 98 a few years ago. would be nice for those studs coming out of jr high to not have to wait. i think the jr high weights are 76 and up for 7th and 8th graders. 76 to 106 is a big jump for a kid going from 8th to 9th grade. -
Just wondering why the TSSAA moved the starting weight class to 106. Seems to be a lot of 9th & 10th graders that have to wait a year or two to hit that weight. That's a lot of time to be off the mat.
