  1. This game will be livestreamed on Facebook (101.3 WOPC), Twitter/Periscope (@wopcfm) and YouTube (search: WOPC). Check it out. I think the broadcaster for them ain't too bad.
  2. That's good. That shows they are well coached team and that they care. You want a bunch of kids that won't quit.
  3. I noticed there are 30 underclassman and only 14 upperclassman. Very young team indeed. But a hungry one at that.
  4. Is #3 the QB? Also I think I saw on film #4 was a running back as well? and #1? I couldn't tell because the camera is so blurry on a few of these tapes.
  5. This game is going to be tough for the Vikings. Not a whole lot of size on the lines. However, Hickman County was a lot bigger and PC was able to get a big win on the road. This will only be the Vikings 2nd road game of the year, they have one more home game and then three straight road games to end the year. Even though this isn't a Region game for the Vikings, they really need some mojo going into their bye week.
  6. By the way, does Scotts Hill have a pressbox on the visitors sideline as well as the home? Or is it just one big one on the home side?
  7. Totally depends on the Vikings. They were coming off a good win against a decent Hickman County team and then lost 38-6 to Collinwood at home. But Collinwood had a lot of size and depth, the Vikings have some size but no depth. However, we will just have to see how this one goes. It was a tight one last year in Linden with Scotts Hill winning 23-16. I think a team like Perry County who in the last three seasons have only won 3 games and only about 6 in 5 years that the win against Hickman County got them on a high and then Collinwood just brought them back down. I know Coach Zemer will have his boys ready for the Lions and they will look to prove that yesterday was just a bad day at the office.
  8. If anyone is interested check out the Livestream of the game on Facebook (search 101.3 WOPC), Twitter/Periscope (@wopcfm) and on YouTube (search: WOPC). Pregame is at 6:45 p.m.
  9. Well yeah going the speed limit. I got there in 15 once but I was in a rush. So technically 30 minutes
  10. Well hopefully it'll be a good game. I pray both teams are injury free. Plus I hope and pray that the Vikings can come away with a win. But if not, you tip your hat to Collinwood and move on to the next week.
  11. They are on the Maury, Lewis and Lawrence County lines. But they are located in northwest Lawrence County. Little town but about 15 minutes south of Columbia and 10 minutes north of Lawrenceburg.
  12. https://fox17.com/news/local/covid-19-emails-from-nashville-mayors-office-show-disturbing-revelation?fbclid=IwAR26jd7ctbMzC-l9RFA0T_D9XXwWVQ5Pwkc_E5VqptFtsU48EEoRvWFhqak
  13. Summertown is a juggernaut of a baseball program. They have won 2 titles and have been to the Boro multiple times. Basketball has been their bread and butter especially in girls action as well as Softball, Golf and Volleyball. But Football is starting to creep up as well. The High School football team has only been around for 6 years and the middle school, I believe started around 2011 or so.
  14. With Collinwood being out of football for the past couple of weeks, will this be an advantage for the Vikings at home?
  15. Hope so. These guys have busted their hind-ends for a while now. Hopefully the win over Hickman County is what they need to go on a run.
  16. The Trojans are 11-4 all time against the Vikings. PC's last win was 26-7 in 2013.
  17. Since this is a Region game and McEwen is the team that had to cancel due to Covid, Huntingdon will get the Region win.
  18. The Trojans have not played since their 26-10 loss @ Richland back on August 28th due to a COVID outbreak (I pray that those that had it were A-symptomatic). The Vikings are coming off their first ever win over a very tough and skilled Hickman County team 14-7. It should be a great game with Collinwood (1-1, 1-0 R6) and Perry County (1-2, 0-1 R6) down in the Valley. Thoughts?
  19. Hey Trader, you wouldn't happen to have a roster of this years Scotts Hill football team would you?
  20. Yeah I totally agree. They definitely seemed to throw a lot of off balance lobs, but against Hickman County, the line did a better job of protecting the QB and letting him set his feet on two big plays by the WR.
  21. Yes of course, they get all the credit for being physical upfront and making PC's QB have to scramble out of the pocket a lot and throw off balance. There were a few throws that shouldn't have been thrown but he has made up for it and does a great job leading the offense.
  22. True but just hand the ball off to the big machines in the back field and get out of the way. I have never seen two guys (actually brothers) who are built the same and both can bounce defenders off like pin-balls. It's interesting to see how they fair against an inexperienced Mustangs team but who have a lot of talent.
  23. If it wasn't for 5 Turnovers, PC would've beaten McEwen even though those two brothers were a machine. Usually they scored after a turnover. But when the Vikings take care of the ball and play like we have seen, they can play with some good teams and Hickman County is a playoff team once their offense starts clicking because they have one of the best defenses i've seen. They held a very good Waverly team to 20 points. Vikings defense did an excellent job and did just enough on offense to get it done. They don't want this to be the only win of the season. They are getting ready for Collinwood next week at home. That's where we will find out how good this Vikings team really is.
  24. First time for everything, even a Perry County win over Hickman County. Came into the game (0-9) all time against the Dawgs. Hickman County scored on 3 plays from 72 yards out to go up 7-0 early and the Vikings defense clamped down. This is what we expected from this Vikings team. Hickman County has a very good defensive front and they did an excellent job all night long. But the Bulldogs offense was the story. 5 turnovers, 2 fumbles (1 was picked up for a Vikings TD), and 2 turnover on downs. The Vikings are a better team than what they have had in the past few years. Hopefully this jump starts them the rest of the season. Good luck to the dawgs the rest of the way.
  25. If they don't test positive, they go by if they had contact with them or not and if they have, how long was it? Was it between 6 ft and for longer than 10 minutes? That's the only thing I can think of with all this. It's all so confusing.
