Collinwood's pretty young aren't they? I know the Montgomery kid was only a Junior last year.

Sorry but Bruceton will not beat Perry Co. We have a much better team then them. That's just my opinion.

Well Murphy Fair has the Vikings picked 7th in the Region but Maurice Patton of The Tennessean has the Vikings 5th in Region in from of Collinwood, Cornersville, and Richland. What does anybody think about how we'll do?

Wayne Co. should win this game, regardless of all the players y'all lost last year in my opinion.

Well Perry Co. will be down this year but they won't be terrible like we were back in the early 2000's and even late '90's when we first started the program. This team is going to be very competitive and should make the playoffs. We of course lost Tucker and about 10+ Seniors last year but we do have 6 defensive and 4 or 5 offensive players back for this year. We only gave up 2 TD's to Huntingdon the other day in a scrimmage but we didn't score. As long as our Defense holds up our Offense will get better.

Hows the Pirates going to be this year? How many players did they bring back from last years Runner-Up team?

Might want to put Chester Co. on that list. They have some pretty good talent coming back from last year.

I mean if you all think about it, Lexington and Dyersburg are both ranked #5 and #10 respectively in 4A. You guys are a 3A school and if you got beat by 1 touchdown against Lexington, who many think will make it to Cookeville, and beat a very solid Dyersburg team by 2 scores, then yall are going to be just fine over in Hohenwald.

I believe Perry Co. will be a very tough team this year even though they lost 10+ seniors and Mr. Football Jacob Tucker (who's at North Alabama). They still have a very good Defense and Dalton Broadway is a very good QB but he's inexperienced but does have good form. I believe 6 are back on Defense but only 3 or 4 back on Offense. There's still some very good optimism about this Tucker-less team, they do have potential.

Yeah i believe that the Vikings can win 5 games possibly 6 on the schedule. They do have the exact same schedule as last year but we're the only ones (besides Wayne Co.) that lost a lot of Seniors.

That's what i've been hearing. I knew they brought back i believe 5 or 6 defensive starters back. i think they can be 4th in the Region behind Mt. Pleasant, Loretto, and Wayne Co. but i do expect the Wayne Co./Perry Co. game to be a good defensive game on Oct. 26th.

Well according to Murphy Fair, Eagleville returns just 3 starters on both sides of the ball but they are picked to finish 1st in District 9A.

That's good, i'm glad the D is looking good. Hopefully the guys will become a more "complete" team once the season comes around. There's still 2 weeks to go until the Forrest game so they have plenty of time.

yeah but LewisCoPanthers LC was playing a VERY good Lexington squad that should do just fine in 4A. They didn't lose much from a team that went 10-0 last year and that got upset by Page in the 1st round, i predict them to go to the semi's, possibly Cookeville. Bet the PC/LC game will be entertaining. Never know until you lace em up.

Heard that Huntingdon scored several times and didn't give up anything on Defense...they're pretty legit.

nobody's for sure what this PC season will hold...i mean does everyone really believe we'll be as good as last year? No, but we do have alot of the Defense coming back and the O-Line looks pretty beefy and solid and the Defense brings back i think 5 or 6 starters from last year...the offense should be ok with Broadway being the backup for 2 yrs below Tucker...this team will have a average year but they won't roll over when they're down...they'll keep fighting until that scoreboard has 0:00 on it...i wish the PC team luck and also the Lewis Co. Panthers luck also because they have been a powerhouse for so many years and they have had some down years these past couple seasons, but with 16 starters coming back i think they will be the 3rd best in their respective district
