The TSSAA could release the classes as early as next week. I believe it was around mid Oct back in 2016 when they were released last time. Then schools will have a week to notify the state if they wanna move up. Once that takes place districts and regions will be set and posted by the end of Oct. If anyone has an appeal with their placement it will be heard at the Nov 12th BOC meeting and that is when everything will be finalized. That's my best guess using past timeframes of this.

I would like to see it as well. But Fayetteville will be down about 5 key players in this game.

Yeah, Bledsoe sqeaking by Monterey last night caught my eye.

Peabody will rep the West. I believe Meigs will have to beat Watertown as I see H20 eliminating Trousdale in the playoffs this year.

From what I am seeing, it looks as though Fayetteville City will be classified as 2A beginning with the 2021 season.

I believe they were split as evenly as possible last time. I also think there's TSSAA language where they will put the "extra numbered" school in the lower classification. (Meaning 50 in 1A compared to 49 for 2A. Example) Also I'm thinking there were a couple schools that came on board in 1A after the cutoff had been set.

I think I'll drop it here as well: Last night showed me glimpses of how good we can be at times but mostly it showed me heart and determination when the chips were down. We fought valiantly and with that type of effort, there's no one that can keep this Pirate ship from sailing to the ultimate destination. We know where we're at and we know what we must do. We are all in this together. And with everyone doing their part, unselfishly, for the "P" on the helmet we will get there. GO PIRATES!!!

Yes, I've eaten there a few times. Idk if I'll attend this game but next time in Fayetteville I may try out a different eatery.
