  1. Did Brown get iced? I heard they were waiting for the banquet to be over to do the deed. Is it?
  2. I am not familiar with this name. Where is he from> stats, etc?
  3. Dang, LOD.....you are too tough to die on any table. If you made it through eating those inferior dogs at some of the rival schools, you can take some more stints. You will be in my thoughts and in my prayers . I consider you a very good friend and know you will be back here swinging the arrows soon. Hope you get a knock-out nurse like that Marla that I had. I look back now and wonder if she was as hot as I remembered or was I so drugged up that I dreamed it? Dang, she may have been a dog? hahahahahah.....hang in there man....we aren't ready to lose you anytime soon. Get your wife or Clone to sign on here and let me know how you are.
  4. Bring home the gold, Smyrna. I BELIEVE you can......sorry I just couldn't help myself.
  5. Hurrah for Smyrna. I am so glad to hear that they pulled this one off tonight. They are very deserving to represent the state next week as they are the best team I have seen all year. Cheers to everyone for stepping up without Meadows in the lineup. Bring home the gold, baby.
  6. PBD, good post. I can't imagine how you feel today having not been able to hug your son after his last high school game. You are a very supportive father and I am sure he is proud to be your son. I regret that I will miss seeing your son and Donkey's Burro play anymore here in the Boro. I am sure their playing days are not over, but it is just so different when they are in college. You don't get that day to day interaction after practice, scrimmages, and games. As a father myself, it is hard to see your son after that last game . It is so emotional. Reality sinks in for us, but it takes a little longer for it to sink in with them. You have taught your sons to be winners not only on the field but in the game of life. Kudos to you both and best of luck to your boys. I really do hope this isn't the last of you guys on the T. You have made it entertaining to say the least.
  7. I say it like it is. Sometimes I get the smackdown for it, and sometimes I get a hand clap. He was constantly questioning others manhood on here. Looks like we know now who isn't.
  8. Great win for OR. Terrific season for a young Warrior team that will only get wiser and stronger in the off-season. I think you have a future Mr. Football at QB. Lick your wounds and remember the sting of defeat in every single work-out and practice. I know the Warrior faithful wanted gold, but round three this yr and semis last yr sure ain't a bad thing. Much better pill to swallow that going out the first round like us.
  9. I had a feeling that Smyrna would come out on top. You Blackman fans really gave them some good lockeroom stuff to work with. The Smyrna D is for real, folk. I said it before, I have seen plenty of state championship games and teams and no one's D compares speed-wise to the Dawgs. This win has to feel real good for the Smyrna head man. You took down Shad twice and held off the probable winner of Mr. Football. I have said it before, Keasler is a heck of a DC who gets little credit. He has two rings from Smyrna and I hope he gets his 3rd one this yr. Donkey, you talked smack all year. You belittled others, taunted, and was downright unpleasant over and over. I know you are hurting but you should have the GUTS to get on here and eat your crow and give SHS kudos.
  10. Sean, I am so saddened to hear the news about your Grandfather. I know your presence will be a comfort to those around you. God Bless.
  11. hey, LOD......maybe he will head towards Riverdale. You said you wanted to trade coaches. Hahahahahahah
  12. This is about 4 seasons overdue if true. Is this just wishful thinking or are they finally pulling the plug?
  13. Hey buddy! I was wondering where you were these days. I enjoyed my trip to the pound a couple of weeks ago, well except for the end result for my Pats. Your Dawgs are one of the fastest teams that I have ever seen, especially on D. Best of luck to you guys .
  14. Surprised it wasn't on channel 5 news.
  15. LOD saw Donkey gargling turpentine last night. Rumor says he was trying to remove paint from his teeth where he opened up a can?
  16. It was in the DNJ that the driver of the pick-up truck was a former Blackman student, not a Smyrna student. I could even pull up the link from the DNJ if need be. I know Riverdaleman remembers when Riverdale football players got blamed for painting the Smyrna pressbox too right before they played each other. The RHS players never went within 20 miles of Smyrna that night. BTW, Riverdale creamed Smyrna after that, so sometimes those things backfire. I am sure there are still folk at Smyrna that can vouch for those old motivational tactics along with 82cat. Pathetic if you ask me.
  17. I don't think for a minute that anyone from Smyrna did this. This technique was used in the old Smyrna days when they played Lavergne. Smyrna coaches did it to fire up the team. Guess who was head coach when they did it? Seems a Smyrna coach who left and went to Lavergne revealed that little secret a few yrs back. It was all over CoachT. That kind of stuff is what causes REAL vandalism to schools. Seems to me that the thought of being in the semis should be motivation enough for BHS.
  18. I wasn't saying a word about Franklin.....just the poster who was from there who was really putting Donnie down in more than one post. That man means the world to my son and my family and I will have his back every single time. I have watched BGA play several times this season b/c he and Marty U are there, including when they beat Franklin. I will say Kudos to Franklin for knocking off Oakland. Best of luck to you next yr.
  19. March on Marty U and Big Donnie Webb!! Cheering for you guys and your Wildcats. Magical things happen when you two are on the same field.
  20. Oh by the way to the FHS poster who was TRASHING on my boy Donnie Webb a few weeks ago, take a look at the standings. BGA is stil alive and well in the playoffs. Go Big Donnie and Marty U!!
  21. ENOUGH already! We all gave Blackman heck for scheduling a bunch of creampuffs in the beginning of the season. Right? The Blaze fans screeched that Coach Shad wasn't responsible for making that schedule and got their feathers ruffled like crazy. Oakland played a pretty stellar non-region schedule and prevailed BUT we are home cleaning out lockers. Now you guys that were complaining the most about getting picked on are jumping on Riverdale for getting to go west. They didn't set their schedule.....thank the TSSAA for that. Bottom line is......having an easier road for the Blaze helped to get their confidence level high as a kite so they could continue to march onward. It is doing the EXACT same thing for a VERY young Riverdale team. You saw firsthand how that worked for the Blaze, so you best realize it MIGHT just do the same thing for the Warriors. IF it ends up being a RC state championship game, you have given the Warriors tons and tons of bulletin board fodder. Now, I am rooting for all the Boro teams to keep representing our little town in the playoffs. One is going to clean out their lockers after Friday night. Hopefully there will still be two from the Boro that play in the semis the next week. I am rooting for that to happen. I don't care what the past was OR who they had to play to get to the point where they are. The main point is that they represent our district and we should all band together and cheer them ALL the rest of the way. Don't whine when no one is supporting YOUR team if you aren't willing to support THEIRS! I know b/c I have learned this the hard way in the past. Go Dawgs, Go Blaze, and Go Warriors!
  22. Wonder if a certain fella in the SHS pressbox may try to taint the Blaze's water this week to get the same effect? Oh wait....forgot that ole donkey protects that cart of his with his big ole shiny teeth. YIKES
  23. I wasn't at the game to know for sure, but from talking to folk that were there seems Oakland came out strong for 2 quarters and then let down the last two. Sounds like the 3rd quarter letdown was alive and well and has plagued us all season. Of course, losing 2 games in the last seconds can be hard to overcome sometimes.
  24. I had heard Mathers didn't play the whole game as he was suffering from a stomach virus. That Rebel meat can be tainted I hear.
  25. Once upon a time, Rankin wanted to go to Gallatin or Lincoln County because of the "Turn out the Whole Town" support at both places. Anyone think he might want to jump on either of these jobs?
