Good stuff, #32 for McCallie hasn't played much this season. If he had been playing I think McCallie would be 5-1 this season. Not sure if he is playing tonight but if he is, look out.

This should be a physical game.

I've seen both teams play. This will be a good one. I'm thinking EH will win because their secondary is good and will get a few key stops. Both offensives are very good but EH has a better defense against a passing team. However, Cleveland's QB is the best around these parts. He may make up the difference.

I give Baylor zero chance in this game. Anyone feel different?

So do the top two teams from each district get a automatic bid. I'm still confused on that. I watched their videos and never really got clarification. Last year in quad 2 for 5A, there were 2 from region 5, 2 teams from region 8, only one from region 6? and 3 teams from quad 1 (northeast TN).

Always take the points (Especially in a rival game), never give up a cheap score just before the half (Especially when you are on your own 15 yd line) and when in FG range to win the GAME, go for the WIN don't take a chance on a penalty.

I watched Sevier County scrimmage at McCallie this year and I think Sevier can win this game. If they play solid football with no turnovers. I was impressed with the size of SC.. It seemed they had 10 players 6'5" or so. Several good RB's and some good linebackers. It will take SC believing than can actually do it. Athletically they got the horses and size. SC needs to not get out coached (I'm not sure about the level of coaching compared to Maryville, I know Maryville is solid there) and not turn the ball over.

I agree, it took a lot of great efforts from 20 plus players to win that game. The O-line was great, the young defense was good.

I can't believe you cats are drilling down on a high school kid. He is not playing for a scholarship or money but for fun. Not every person is cut out for college (not sure if that was your angle). Bottom-line the EH coachws lost this one for the canes. Not kicking the FG on the 1st drive, passing on 3 and 20 on their own 15 before the half and not kicking the FG when in range at the end of game. Leave the kid off the boards unless you have something nice to say.

DBFAN91, Ooltewah's best local places to eat are Couches BBQ, Country Side Cafe, Southern Burger or Lupi's PIzza. I would recommend these places any day. If a hotel is needed, there are two brand new hotels just across I-75 from the school. I'm thinking they are Holiday Inn Express and Hampton Inn.

If the Canes are going to win one, they better get it done this year. It looks like the Owls have a lot of young talent and an impressive new head coach. It appears the Canes have a lot of key seniors leaving. I'm I correct or no?

Wow, this game has quickly become one of the best rivalries in Chattanooga. This will be a high scoring game. I see the teams matching scores. So it will boil down to turn-overs and who ever gets the most scoring chances. To close to call.

Almost every private school playing in the public school divisions give financial aid of some sort. They just call it something else. Work study, the parents takes up tickets or works concessions stand at games and gets $5000 off tuition. I think they have several legal loopholes.

Pretty close, I think McCallie is much better than Baylor. McCallie's speed is impressive. I can't see Baylor staying close to McCallie the next few years. The question will be how will the speed of McCallie hold up against the size of the teams like MBA, Ensworth and BA?

I think High School football has come a long way in East Tennessee in the last ten years. I think the growth of competitive youth football has really aided in a higher quality product. The timing is about the same. I've watched a lot of teams from other states and TN has caught up. Regardless of the reason, its a nice thing to see. A shout out to all the guys running these competitive leagues and youth tournaments. Its working.

I thought Station Camp looked a lot better Saturday than they "heck week" show made them appear. I thought they looked like a scrub team in the show and they are clearly not after watching them play. TN high school football has greatly improved over the last 5 years.

McCallie wins big. I don't think the McCallie secondary is weak. I think Austin Herrick was just that good. Not sure why this QB doesn't get the attention that the other Cleveland QB received. I think Austin's upside is much higher.

What these parents are really trying to say " We are trying to get into the private schools without having to pay the tuition or a greatly reduced amount. I'm sure if these parents are willing to pay the $20k plus a year tuition they can get into the school in most cases. That line is much shorter than the line for full-paid tuition. Yes, I know the family has to qualify for the amount but the school allocates their budgets with whatever their school priorities actually are at that time. Some private schools put these funds all on athletes and some but it on academics or well rounded and deserving students.

I agree with "anotherback" turn overs will decide. FYI, McCallie is much more than scrappy these days. They have a ton of talented players.

Dear Fred, Are you serious, good game I think not. You must not have seen Ensworth play. This would be a beat down. I'm sorry but it would be bad. Webb does not have the linemen to even make this game close.

Why hasn't this kid got a D1 offer? 6'1" is tall enough. He can play.
