I think so to. I thought it was supposed to be a rebuilding year but they have played well to be so young. I could be wrong but I think that they loose a RB , Wr, And DB and that’s it. All linemen back I think.

I think Hampton’s passing game and Oneida’s absence of a passing game gives Hampton the win.

No guys just what I was told about a few of their players couldn’t tell you if they were starters or not. If they were at full strength it’s impressive shutting them out. Of course your skill players are probably good enough to lock them down man coverage and load the box and bring the heat. Not many teams that have that advantage in the skill position. That’s why I thought you would win when you acted like I was crazy or something.

I can agree with that. I do think if you add any school in the county with Coalfield they get a lot better with player pool and depth to choose from.

I’m sure Coalfield doesn’t have to schedule you all every year but they do anyway out of respect for a rivalry.

No excuses just fact. Oneida should never drop a game to a school with 160 students in it but they do.

As they should by a larger margin than that having double the number of kids to choose from to field a team.

Maybe they can get back on track beating little ole Coalfield in a couple weeks before playoffs start.

Probably better off in AA for their sake. I think they have an easier road there than they would playing Greenback,Coalfield, Midway, Oliver Springs, Harriman year I year out. Not that they wouldn’t beat those teams most years but some years that’s tough. ThAt would have put 8 teams in a tough region.

Hope midway wins but wouldn’t bet on it.

Exactly my point. So much talent they can not play for 3 weeks and hang right in there with possibly the best team in 2A. Hate to see how bad they beat 1A teams after they get into shape. You just don’t see talent like that in 1a ball. They had a heck of an off-season.
