Why is Walker Valley missing so many starters?

We keep adding divisions in TN and we will soon be overrated just like Alabama.

Failed reading comprehension in this thread? Where has anyone complained about the rankings? The posts were to enhance the polls so they do not seem bias towards a team. While they may not be official, they are posted for interest of people around the state. To keep from making his polls questionable or slanted the shout outs are not necessary, unless he feels that he needs to back up why WC is ranked as high as he has them. But these posts were never about the rankings.

Can someone elaborate on the competition? Cleveland may or may not be the best team in the state but that's a lot of wrestlers seeded.

TN has or will be doing away with "No Child Left Behind" if I am not mistaken. I also believe most school systems will allow you to do that unless they have a hard zone in place.

My post had nothing to do with rankings. Giving shout outs to certain teams that place in an in-state tournament just seems to show favoritism. Bray at least keeps it Classy by giving out wrestler of the week and team of the week every week. Just giving a random shout out on a poll that you do for fans across the state shows bias in them. Did SD get a shout out for the Cleveland Duals or The Bradley Tournament for beating State Championship teams from other states?

Wait the Blue Raiders are Middle TN. Wait which team are we talking, Rutherford Murfreesboro Blue Raiders or Bradley Cleveland Blue Raiders? Im confused?!

A special shout out to the Blue Raiders seems to be more in line with your thinking. McCallie Tournament is way up on the Prestige chart.

I hear you. I also said Bradley will have 1 or 2 place at State. 1 of the 4 "tough wrestlers" did not place at the Bradley Tournament, that placed 6 per weight.

Nothing on this tournament ? This had to be a terrible tournament. Does anyone even know who made the Finals?

It seems as if matches are pointless now. I can't read a thread without the most famous line on CoachT "we don't have all of our starters". Has high school wrestling gone to a 2-4 week season?(Region and State) Is this healthy for the sport?

You obviously don't keep up with the results of matches. Navarro has the best chance of the ones you named.

Big name win for Heritage, but this is not the same Bradley team we are accustomed to. Bradley might have 1-2 kids place at the State Tournament.

Cleveland has made this an elite tournament across the Southeast. I don't have a dog in the race anymore and tend to travel to good matches but I will always be at the Cleveland Duals to watch some of the best wrestling of the season!

Who is missing from SD besides CC Jr,Stevens and why didn't they wrestle? Are we talking new names coming into SD lineup or everyone will be dropping at the end? Names please. Neither Lankford wrestled for WV? This could have been a major upset.

Cleveland was head and shoulders better. Looks as if Cleveland is going to run away with the State Title.

At what point is a team not considered young? 9 Seniors and Juniors seems like a very mature group to me. Any surprises at the tournament?

Clarksville has always been a powerhouse team. Im just trying to figure out the logic, that Clarksville is finally taking shots, and the last time Clarksville wasn't impressive against competition they face. Besides some of the East TN teams, Clarksville has always been better than most teams in the state. It is not like this is a first year program, They even own a State Title. That's all. Jeff Jordan was a great coach.
