North, South, and a large portion of Central will go to the new "west" high school starting in 2019. North is sold to Kingsport to use as a middle school and South becomes a county middle school also. Centrals future is up in the air, could be closed entirely, have even saw a proposal to refit it as a jail for women only in Sullivan county. Sullivan East is supposed to take the rest of the Central students. As someone said before I really don't know how East is going to take that many students. There really has not been any talk of major renovations in the East area regarding high school facilities until 2029.

He only has input on the non-conference schedule. Super 32 goes away and it is going back to about 48 teams per class which puts a slightly different set of schools in the easternmost 6A conference.When they close North, South, and Central the new Sullivan "East" and "West" schools should be 6A.

I've laid low on all the statements from the D-B fans on this but the guy deserved to be ejected. That was not his first cheap shot of the night.

Watch your time carefully. Some days they close at 2 or 2:30 and don't open back up till 4:30 or so for dinner. They don't worry about locking the door with your hand about to open it either! Great food though.

Very true but from someone that saw it in person once HV started throwing the ball SN defense fell apart. I've never seen a game turn quite like that and it left an impression on me. Maybe that secondary is coached up a bit now but it required more of an adjustment than they were capable of making during a game.

HV drew blood on SN when they discovered they could throw the ball. If Grace has a passing game then they would have a very good chance against North. It would depend on what kind of a defense Grace brings to the table .

Yeah I have to admit I thought things would be a lot different when those kids got to their 11/12th grade years but so many of those kids as Sophomores are doing other things right now. I'm not sure how it is going to go now.

You are correct Batman but aren't all of these middle school and JV victories against (other than Johnson City schools) the "little" local schools that D-B doesn't want to play anymore? Not apples to apples anymore when you get to varsity play.

OK Batman, get your kids out of school and then let both barrels loose. I, like Waco, have been very intrigued by all of this information shared around the issues and then pulling back at the last moment when it looks like the rabbit is about to be pulled out of the hat. It's almost like a ClintonGate situation. Smoke all over the place but the fire can't be found!

I think I know of the QB that is starting tonight and a lineman too, there may be more. I think both would have been at Gate City. Have not heard that they actually moved.

The GC fans are predicting a 14 to 21 point SSHS victory. Saying they have no run game at all. We'll see. This is always one of my favorite games. Would like to see GC get back up in football like they traditionally have been.
