QUESTION? Why is there so much turnover in the coaching positions at Henry County High School?

There are tales of technical fouls, throw downs and other rough play, fan ejections, arrests, threats of arrests, plain clothes cops feeling their oats, at the Webb-Shelbyville game last night. Someone that was on the scene, please give us the low down on what really happened.

I think you show disrespect to these fine coaches and men when you call them only by their last names (Tucker, Flatt, Smith, Etter, etc.). To me they will always be Coach Tucker, Coach Flatt, Coach Smith and Coach Etter. On the topic of respect, let it be known that Coach Tucker attended the Brentwood Academy game on the night that Coach Flatt passed him on the all time win list.

All the standings may change anyway. I heard that Independence is going to try and protest the Dickson County loss because their quarterback didn't play. Then they are going to protest the Ravenwood loss because their quarterback did play.

Was that Jim Ray Hart (SF Giants third baseman) or Gary Hart (the presidential hopeful with the girlfriend) ?

My choice would be the Legend John Tucker who coached at Parsons, Howenwald, Dickson, Milan, Gibson County, and Humboldt. He was the standard to which other great coaches were compared.

Hit'em up was claiming maturity on the field. I was just pointing out the opposite. You must have been listening to Steve Gill. He seems to hold the opinion that anyone that disagrees with him is immature or stupid. You seem to hold the same opinion. Namecalling won't make you look mature or smart. Nor does "not having a dog in the hunt" keep me from having an opinion.

I think Coach Brown is a fine coach. He may be the best high school coach that I know. The Jackson County girls are outstanding. Their work ethic, talent, and competitiveness are beyond reproach. I do not think for a minute that the Jackson County team, coaches, or supporters exemplify any Iverson Attitude. I profess that you, BBALLTN, have the Allen Iverson Attitude.
