District 1 tourney results (Knoxville area): 1. The King’s Academy (TKA) 2. Webb School of Knoxville 3. Christian Academy of Knoxville (CAK) 4. Grace Christian Academy - Knoxville (GCA) District 2 Tourney results (Chattanooga area): 1. Silverdale Baptist Academy (SBA) 2. Notre Dame 3. Grace Baptist Academy - Chattanooga 4. Collegedale Academy Realistically, the top 3 teams are probably TKA, SBA & Notre Dame (in that order). I would not expect the others to make a run, although Webb has a great coach & program.

I agree. He has never seen them play if he thinks Wood doesn’t have a supporting cast. The bench is weak, but the other starters are all very good.

I think Madison Hayes has proven to be an exception. I think East Hamilton has been the #3 seed in the District 5AAA Tourney the last 3 years, yet she does put up great numbers & it’s hard to argue she doesn’t deserve the award. I do like the idea of 5 finalists, as well, that someone mentioned.

It’s been about a decade since a different coach won the District Championship & I doubt any head coach in the District has ever beaten his team... not many coaches can that be said about.

Looks like a 3 way tie for 3rd place with WV, East Ham & McMinn Co. I guess it will be a coin flip. 3rd place would have to be a huge advantage vs 4 or 5. I don’t see Cleveland losing in the semis. However, Ooltewah isn’t a terrible #6 seed. They have played Cleveland, Bradley, East Hamilton & McMinn Co to single digit losses this year. Could be a 6 vs 3 upset if they are overlooked. This District really has Cleveland & everyone else... would not surprise me is 2-4 lost in first round of Region & also wouldn’t shock me if 2-4 win in first round of Region either... I think our 2-5 & their top teams are all about the same... with maybe the exception of White County. They are always tough.

Pretty sure 5AAA uses head to head first (win/loss - not points) & then a coin toss for a 2 way tie.

Not a real bright post. Might want to talk to someone who knows facts about Cleveland duals before posting. Also - who cares what cheerleaders say at a wrestling match??? You did get one part right... Baylor is currently the best team money can buy in Tennessee.

East Hamilton’s starting 5 will have to stay healthy & out of foul trouble vs Cleveland in the semis. East Ham isn’t very deep & losing their PG in the first Cleveland game was the main reason Cleveland made it to overtime & then once Madison fouled out early in the 2nd overtime, it was over quickly with 2 starters off the floor.. East Hamilton’s starters are better, but Cleveland’s bench is much stronger. Kara Williams can put points on the board just as fast as Madison does.
