  1. We haven't heard from FactsOnly in a while. But here are some facts. Since 2007 Henry County has a record of 129 - 29 with 2 State Titles and a 3rd title game appearance. They also have a playoff record of 29 - 10 in the same 12 year period. That is why Henry County Does Not need you to defend them. Although your efforts may be sincere, they are very counter productive.
  2. Let me quote myself from another thread. HC used to be some of the classiest fans on coach t. They were proud, yet with a sense of humility. Always fun to banter with. Not so much anymore. I’ve sense a different bread this year, starting back in the preseason. Pilgrim out!
  3. I sure do miss the "Good Ole Days" people like Drewcephus and Olddevil would send out invites to their tailgate, to visitors.

  5. Congrats Jackets. Good to see you all heading in the right direction. As for my Cats. That was one of the most pathetic games I have ever watched. There was more mistakes and penalties than good plays. (And how does the punter get sacked?)
  6. Clarksville Northwest Dyer County Montgomery Central Beech Evansville Reitz Oakland
  7. Here are this week’s games. Let's hear your predictions. Wk.2 - Class 5A - Region 7 Clarksville (1-0) @ Springfield (0-1) Northwest (1-0) @ Greenbrier (0-1) Dyer County (1-0) @ Obion County (0-1) West Creek (1-0) @ Montgomery Central (1-0) Henry County (0-1) @ Beech (1-0) Northeast (0-1) @ Evansville Reitz (0-1) Kenwood (0-1) vs. Oakland (1-0)
  8. As always this should be a good game. These teams always play each other hard. Hopefully we will see significant improvements from both teams. I’ll give CHS the edge with 21-14 (If the Jackets defense shows up) If not, it may be closer to 35-7.
  9. Wk.1 - Class 5A - Region 7 Haywood Clarksville Riverdale Northwest Kenwood Greenbrier Crockett County
  10. Football is upon us. It's time to see what the off-season has produced. Here are this week’s games. Let's hear your predictions. Wk.1 - Class 5A - Region 7 Henry County @ Haywood Clarksville vs. Rossview Northeast @ Riverdale Northwest vs. Hunters Lane Kenwood vs. Hopkinsville West Creek vs. Greenbrier Dyer County vs. Crockett County
  11. Sounds like business as normal for HC. You all may not be the only school in Region 7 to start a freshman at QB. Clarksville is looking to return a lot with a critical void at QB. But we have a freshman that looks to be much like yours. I anticipate he will get the start and have 4 good years competing with Damron.
  12. What CHS will lose from graduation is really pretty normal. CHS will only lose one lineman next year, on what was a very good line. Plus they have more size and strength coming up. With their line they will be just as good next year. They will be improved at the Running back position next year, and will be good at Wide receiver. Quarter Back will be the big question, but there are several players competing to be the next man up.
  13. I'm not sure my comments could be characterized as chest pounding or crowing. Besides somebody has to represent CHS on here, and I think our Patriot Brothers appreciate a little spirit. It's better than only chiming in after the fact.
  14. Well, congrats Patriots. Great game. I'm really sorry we did not give you a better matchup. Maybe Northeast will, but I doubt it. I can honestly say that I will most likely NEVER take the trip to Paris again. To many disappointments and probably the most annoying place to play and lose. (That's actually a compliment)
  15. Really disappointed with my cats. They looked completely overwhelmed by the Patriot atmosphere.
  16. Don't be a Tall Tail Teller. Nobody believes HC will be whooped or manhandled in their own house. And the CHS faithful know that it is a tall order to simple get a Win in Paris. But for the first time in a long while, we actual have hope and believe we have what it takes to beat the Mighty Patriots. There's a lot of football to be played tonight, and both sides win if it is a hard fought, close game. Good Luck Patriots. May both sides stay healthy. Go Cats!
  17. It will be really interesting to see how the HC faithful respond after tomorrow's game. You all are usually very graceful and willing to give credit where it's due. But I'm not sure you all are ready to lose to such an inferior opponent.
  18. I agree. But this will be the first year ever, that CHS will be able to match up with the Patriots in the trenches. And we are pretty balanced on offense. I actually could see this game going either way. A Defensive game 10-7 or an offensive race 42-35.
  19. Since you all are already looking ahead to Cookeville, I guess it's time for me to man up. I will be making the drive to Paris this Friday because I believe my Wildcats will upset the Patriots. And even if they don't, I'm confident that they will give you a whole lot more than you ever anticipated. The Yanker will not even come close with his over-inflated prediction this week. See you Friday
  20. QB Hale Page (Hillwood) is the coaches son. Coach Page played QB for Vanderbilt Hale has passed for 1,190 yards in the 4 games so far. Watching him play last week was pretty impressive.
  21. Clarksville had a huge challenge last week defending the pass and should be better for it. Hillwood lacks defense, but they have a solid offense with one of the better passing QB's I've seen in a while. I don't think they will see that kind of talent for the rest of the regular season.
  22. Clarksville (4-0) @ Henry County (4-0) History Henry County is 29-0 Against Clarksville teams since 2013 Henry County is 50-2 against Clarksville teams since 2009 - Loss @ N.E. 2012 - Loss @ CHS 2009 Henry County has not lost to a Clarksville team @ home since 2005. - Loss vs. Kenwood (17-14) 2005 2018 Season Henry County (4-0) - Opponents (6-10) - 136 Points Scored - 65 Points Against Clarksville (4-0) - Opponents (7-8) - 141 Points Scored - 72 Points Against
