  1. congratulations Farragut, good luck in the rest of the tourney.
  2. bummer....funny flick hope that house was on a beach. So whats your picks for the first round?
  3. Dogs are family too, sorry to hear it.
  4. Man, that was a great question wasn't it? Opinion - a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter Prediction - foretell on the basis of observation, experience, or scientific reason Thats why we still play the game, right?
  5. interesting...... well, I guess thats why we still play the game ..... on any given day .....
  6. ambiguousrock Farragut wins 2-1. BlackmanSoccerDad Riverdale 2 - Farragut - 1 Tin-Man 2-1 for Farragut in overtime soccer4life Farragut will give them more than they can handle and take the win by 2-3 goals Wavecup Farragut wins 2-0. Ok, now how many of you have actually seen both teams play, more specifically, play RECENTLY?
  7. Farragut. Defense was stellar ..... as usual.
  8. hey BSD, just so we can help out MJUHB, what is a good side dish for crow?
  9. Jasper Driskell and Shayne Rollins with the goals, Dan Campbell set both of them up. Defense was stellar as usual. Looked like RHS settled in during the second half, played control but didn't generate much up front. Cookeville had a dangerous direct kick in the 2nd half, saved by Holt.
  10. why are regions 7 & 8 already decided? Are they not on the same schedule as everyone else?
  11. Luck had nothing to do with it, the score should have been 5 or 6 to nill. RHS went into cruise mode with 15 minutes left and there were no threats from the men in blue. Look forward to seeing Cookeville again on Thursday, 7-AAA (4-AAA) Region finals, congrats to Cookeville on their win! GO WARRIORS!
  12. I am not one to forecast the outcome, but from what I saw Riverdale accomplish Thursday? ....... Cookeville is a quality team and I bet they would even admit that Riverdale is playing at a whole new level, it was amazing ... the entire team was doing whatever was necessary to insure an RHS victory, I have never been more impressed while watching a HS game. Riverdale is firing on all cylinders...... GO WARRIORS!!
  13. Amen to that, Mom's have spent MANY hours in all these players careers, getting them to practices / games, washing dirty uniforms, helping the coaches with many duties, hugging their players after the accomplishments and disappointments, encouraging them day-in and day-out....I think it is safe to say without the Mom's none of the players would be nearly who they are today...in fact they wouldn't even be here today....give Mom OR someone who has been special to you a hug and a heart felt THANK YOU! Best of luck to all remaining teams, Way To Go Mom!
  14. Todays DNJ lists Griffin Tuggle as a recipient, glad to see that, Griffin is ... and has always been a very good player AND ROLE MODEL. Congratulations Griffin, well deserved.
  15. Riverdale uses 2 very good players for free kicks, Jose Cruz and Dan Campbell. Jose is very accurate with where he wants to put the ball, typically takes the ball when it is out as far as 25yds. Dan Campbell will take them from any distance, has a very strong and accurate shot with a great touch ...... of course from the greater distance there are usually others involved, Shayne, Sean, Matt, Jasper, Jose.....
  16. RHS 3 Warren Co. 0 Jasper Driskell, Shane Rollins and Tim Reed will score .... Shane Rollins goal will be from a set play. 2 of the 3 goals will be assisted by Dan Campbell. Defense will hold tough as usual.
  17. Riverdale was very close to having 4 goals in the first half; there was the direct kick that hit the left post and the questionable off-sides call by the linesman on the parents side. RHS appeared to want this game more than Blackman. Your possession % is incorrect, don't get me wrong, Blackman is a very good team and they did maintain possession for more than 50%, but I would not say it was "more than 80%". RHS has proved they have several players that can score goals, much of that has to do with the opportunities created by the midfield players, very talented. The defenders are solid and the goalie(s) are impressive. When Coach Arman is allowed to work with this much talent, rest assured they will give most if not all a good game. Overall this was a good clean game, footing was questionable due to rain the night before. All 3 goals in this game were EARNED, you can blame it on missed marks or whatever you want to, but all 3 goals were impressive. The first was a very well played direct kick which was headed into the Blackman goal, the 2nd was a through ball to the right side which was then placed just inside the left post of the Blackman goal, Blackmans goal came off a dangerous corner kick which was played to the top of the box for an excellent low shot from the charging midfielder. None of the 3 goals in the previous tournament game would hold a candle to any of these. Congratulations to RHS JV in their 1-0 win over Blackman afterwards.
  18. I agree with your prediction (now that Riverdale has been dis-qual'd). I predict Tullahoma by 2 goals in the Region Final. Blackman has good skills, but their heads will get all messed up as Tullahoma dominates the game. If Blackman can control their emotions then it may be closer, no need to mention any names, if you have watched a Blackman game then you know who I am talking about....
  19. FINAL Riverdale 2 Cookeville 0
  20. best vision on the field .... Dan Campbell - Riverdale.
  21. I follow Riverdale which has played both Tullahoma and Blackman, losing 3-1 and 1-0 respectively. I respect Blackman for their skills but they are not close to the level of play that Tullahoma brings to the field. Having seen both teams play, I feel Tullahoma is a much better team than Blackman, plus the Tullahoma fans do not whine constantly, or hold the game ball, real classy lady.....(next time bring your own ball to the game)
