We were at CBHS duals during the top 100 in Memphis. Didn’t look like a very big turn out. Almost like a local tournament.

I could be wrong but what I think they are saying is the money built the program. So if they didn’t use money on Josh then he wouldn’t be there and you probably wouldn’t be there either. So that’s how money helped your son. I could be completely off on this buts what I’ve pieced together.

Yes jones gave money to help build or paid all for the jones center. IDK. Yes jones paid Josh to keep him around. Can’t blame him for that, you get a good one you do what it takes to keep him. I would imagine fees go to the up keep of the jones center. I’m sure the utilities and up keep aren’t cheep. As nice as it is it’s still aging. Even with the donations and money you still have to have the right coaches, parents and supporters to make it successful. Cleveland has an amazing village that all believe in the program. We have had a couple great coaches that would have came to Summit to do what Josh does for Cleveland. But we couldn’t raise enough money to close the deal. We make do with what we have. Would a nice fat donation help to get our guy absolutely but that’s not why we are trending in the right direction.

That place is better than most colleges. I’m sure UTC, App state, and others would love that set up. Yes that’s jealousy in my voice. Lol

We have to pay the school to use the facility any time out of season. That includes HS not just kids club.

I think only 2 in Williamson county don’t have one. Summit and Indy.

I can tell you we have had to share the gym both basketball teams, volleyball, youth volleyball and girls flag football. So we have to be very strategic when booking the gym and how we run HS and kids practice.

Saying Cleveland would be State Champs isn’t a big flex Captain Obvious

This may be the only time Trey and I agree. lol. Halls got 1 takedown the entire dual they wrestled. Halls may have only won 1 match if Cleveland didn’t FF.

Most important part is before the dual starts. What weight we start and who wins the toss.

Score was 45-24. Summit won 150-157 then didn’t win again until 132-144. Both lineups will not look the same. So it will interesting to watch.

One thing I can guarantee Knox and Pete will put a plan together that gives them the best matchups. It will come down to starting weight and who has to show first at certain weights.

I think you are also forgetting about kids like Posey, Little and Leach who won their matches last time.
