  1. NG isn't to bad of a team, I seen them against Eagleton. Haven't seen Harriman, can't figure them out.
  2. Keeping an eye on this post. Not sure who I'm picking on this one.
  3. 41-9 this week. We had a few upsets this week.
  4. Heritage is capable of playing like this all the time and lost 2 they should have won. For a program that hasn't had but 2 other teams reach the .500 mark in 36 years you still have to be very happy in the direction the program is going. I watched last night and they played lights out.
  5. It was very frustrating to sit and watch the last two games. If you want to win against good athletes you better not be afraid to go down low and be able to hit, not this silly arm tackeling bullcrap. That's how Farragut marched right down the field on that last drive.
  6. This is a serious subject that needs to be dicussed regarding the whole defensive backfield play overall. It don't take a rocket scientist to figure out the weak link in the chain. Farragut figured it out real quick and went to town on us the first half. I watched one kid go right by their QB while he was looking for a receiver and had a chance to turn back and possibly disrupt the pass but chose to turn around and stand there like a deer looking at headlights and did nothing. That's honestly a big part of the reason we lost the Alcoa game. Nobody can tackle period. This isn't seven on seven we're playing. We haven't had a db that will knock some sense into a receiver since DJ Burks. Do we not teach tackeling anymore.
  7. When I picked yesterday on Barney's Favorites I waited to the last minute on this one. Won't be so hard to pick next week. I'll have to wath the replay later to see how last night looked. WB has a great crew doing their games, something I wish Maryville would go to in stead of that crappy NFHS.
  8. This was the absolute worse first half of football I have ever seen Maryville play against a much lesser opponet in 50 plus years. Nothing was working and you could tell the team was just not there overall. Totally a different team came out the second half with some big plays and you could tell the difference once they hit paydirt. Couldn't ask for a better second half to come from behind 0-21 and win 28-21. Honestly a win like it was played tonight may put the Alcoa game behind then and they can focus on the playoffs. Glad I went tonight.

  10. Could be because of the 10,400 views. The more views the better your product.
  11. I could have very well been your room mate had there been cameras LOL.
  12. This whole thing reminds me of the summer before my 9th grade year when Maryville assistant Coach Brown was the manager of John Sevier Swimming Pool when school was out for the summer. One day me and two other boy's got the bright idea to go fishing and bring what we caught and release them into the pool. It was the biggest crowd of the year and a few minutes after we let then go people were telling the lifeguards there were fish in the pool. They cleared everyone out of the pool while employee's were trying to catch them with nets. After an hour when they finally got them all everyone was allowed back in. Coach Brown called all three of us to his office because he pretty much figured who did it. One by one and he got the truth out of the Cooper Boy's and kicked them out of the pool for a week then he called me in and I lied to the end and he kicked me out for two weeks. Me and Coach Brown still laugh about that to this day but the difference between back then and today wouldn't be simple as catching the fish but emptying the pool out and refilling it after it was cleaned and guess who would get the bill, our dads. Will Alcoa be paying the bill or the dads of the ones who did it.
  13. When I threw the M-80 in Down Younder Saloon I was smart enough to take my jersey off.
  14. Thinking about the time Alcoa's gym flooded and now this Josh probably has somebody that fixes gym floors on speed dial.
  15. Mr. Nix needs to tell them boy's to act like they won this game before not like Tennessee does everytime they beat Alabama.
  16. Lord knows I done a lot of stupid chit in my life but I sure never done it on camera.
  17. This could get bad, might have to set out the first quarter of the first playoff game but no need to worry, Alcoa has plenty of money to fix this just like new.
  18. Alcoa football players went into Maryville's auxiliary gym grinding their cleats into the " M " on the gym floor while being recorded by surveillance cameras. Word is Alcoa has agreed to pay for the destruction but please keep this under your hat and not tell anyone. We wouldn't want anyone to think bad of our neighbors.
  19. Good thing the Price Brothers moved on or Oak Ridge would be in some deep do do this week.
  20. I'm making my guess by how lucky Maryville was to get out of Science Hill by the hair of our chinny chin chin.
  21. The big question, does the lady running the concession stand at WB want the season to go on ahead and hurry up and end because cold weather will be here soon or do the Govs want to keep playing so she can freeze her tail off for telling the visitors customers something like that?
