  1. REMINDER: Bartlett is 1-6. Also I'm fairly ceratin they are a 5a school and not 6a. Not that any win is not a nice win, but lets be honest about the quality of the opponent.
  2. Haywood already has 5 wind dhs, they are sitting at 5-3 with JCM and NS left to play.
  3. Covington is pretty much locked in to the 3 seed given the two losses and being district winner. Neither the TIgers nor Cougars SHOULD give the Chargers much problem. Unless of course Dyersburg were to fall.
  4. I have not looked at all the tiebreakers either. Correct me if I'm wrong, if Dyersburg and Trezevant both win out, which Trezevant should and Dyersburg has a decent shot to, the seeding of 1 and 2 for quad 4 would have to go into tie breakers. Given that they both finished first in their district, and both have 1 loss. Not that the difference between a 1 and 2 seed would matter too much until round 3. I also agree with you dhs, in your difference between other quad pictures. Liberty almost has to be quad 4. Haywood should make the playoffs with a 5-5 at worst record. But I cannot see Ripley, Obion or any other team out of Memphis, if there even are any other 4a teams in Memphis, making the playoffs.
  5. Liberty's win is a tad more meaningful than Haywood's. As far as the strength of the opponent .
  6. Arlington Ridgeway Manassas Germantown Hamilton Lausanne Central Millington
  7. It's fairly comical that you have to post a comment on a thread just because you are upset about all of the Whitehaven talk. You should make picks for all the games if you are going to participate. After all, you have to tally all William Blount wins since 2009 to equal the amount Whitehaven had last year. Yeah, thats 4 and a half seasons. You are excused to get back to wishing your colors are black and red. After all, the Rebels are the ONLY show in town up there.
  8. Call me crazy, but I find it a stretch at best for Obion, Haywood or Ripley to be in the playoffs at all. This could push the two Jackson schools and Lexington to quad 4. Maybe still keep Lexington Quad 3. But I believe Liberty and NS will be quad 4. I am correct in saying that there is only one district in Memphis area? 16-AA?
  9. Cordova Liberty Trezevant MUS ECS Ridgeway Central Houston Melrose Whitehaven On a side note, whats the word on Munford down there?
  10. Briarcrest CBHS Covington Fairley Houston Central MAHS Overton MBA MUS WHitehaven St. Georges Woodale
  11. CBHS Craigmont Germantown White Station Northpointe Manassas Whitehaven Central Southaven South Panola Trezevant
  12. Craigmont dropped to 4A also. Don't count them out. They may not be able to handle Liberty but could certainly get Dyersburg, if that scenario played out. And I do not think that Dyersburg wants anything to do with Covington this year, even with the loss to graduation.
  13. Verdict is still out on Haywood. They got beat up on by Liberty. See how they fare the rest of the year before calling them "much improved"
  14. Probably because Brentwood Academy actually was cheating during that time. If you are upset that Riverdale is no longer any good, you could become an Oakland fan. No one knows who Riverdale is since 2005.

  17. I hope those two do well individually, but I got to go for my Rebels, at least for Thursday night.
  18. Football guru's don't know anything about Gibson County or Scotts Hill.... Sorry, it was too easy.
  19. Lol, I hear you. Time for a new challenge after two years of the same. What does the backfield look like for Whitehaven this year? I assume it is close to more of the same. I hope Mr. Dodson does good things for the Rebels this year. Would be nice to see him in action Thursday night.
  20. Game 1: Arlington. They will win it in the 4th. Game 2: CBHS. I think they will bounce back after a loss to a good team. Game 3: Whitehaven. Probably wont be close. Game 4: MUS. Probably wont be close either. Game 5: Mitchell. Just going on the competition each played in week 0. Game 6: East. Not sure about Westwood under new leadership. Game 7: Millington. I'm unsure about this one. Game 8: Trezevant. Southaven is usually fairly solid, but I'm gonna go with Trezevant because I believe they will have better athletes. Game 9: Oakland. They showed they can play last week. Arlington goes to Murphreesboro in two weeks to play Oakland. Senator, am I right in guessing that Oakland would be on the side of the brackett to play Maryville in the semis in the event they both made it that far?
  21. Olive Branch SP Germantown MBA MUS East Briarcrest Friendship (unsure about this one) Trinity Bolton Westwood And of course Whitehaven
  22. How many people have really crowned Crockett County as state champs? Outside of Crockett County that is. If Covington did not do it last yet, Crocket will not do it this year.
