What u saw is not the same player we've seen for 4 years I promise u that. He is way better than what he demonstrated. He is 6'5 G/F He has shot 56% from the floor 50% from three and 82% from the free throw. Not to mention he averaged 19 points per game 5 rebounds 5 assists 3 steals; and your telling me thats not good enough for D1? WOW! You dont judge a player by 1 tournament its what you have done through out the season. If you throw out everything he has done during the seaon and just judge him by what he did in 3 games then that is just plain ignorance pal. And as far as the others yes I believe Simpson has a good shot at college basketball and I think he could be a decent D1 player as well. Stockdale more than likely not D1 but could play college ball if he can become more of a guard. The point is what you saw is not even close to what we did so no I dont think Mitchell could beat us every time. And if you noticed we were still in striking range till it blew up in the 4th.

Doubt they would lose 10/10 games. Lets face it Mitchell caught UC at there worst this week. If they played like they have most of the season then this would of been a game to watch. The refs were horrible but they didn't beat us. We beat ourselves with sloppy plays and poor shooting thats all there is. My hats off to Mitchell yall r an amazing team.Congratulations to my Tornadoes yall had a great season and just like what was said before 100s of teams would of loved to be in your spot. Now its time to say goodbye to our seniors yall will be missed and now time to focus on next year. We have some talented kids that will have to step up and get back to the boro and I believe we could see I more improved Parker Stewart next year cause knowing him he will be in that gym every day working hard to improve. Oh and another thing with Parkers dad as UTMs assistant coach how come they aren't looking at deberry?

Not needing Stewart this year is possible but it helps. But for the future he is a huge key to the team the next couple years; if he's here that long.

Ok thats too confusing. Why not just have the 2 lower seeds have a play in game like usal. Plus the semis and championship games need to be in Gibson Co. cause there is more space; Trenton is too crowded and not enough walking space.

Dont give that state championship to Mitchell just yet. UC is showing everyone that they are the real deal as they find themselves in the championship game in Poplar Bluff and have beaten some good teams. Like I said before this year it could be UC vs. Mitchell for the title this year. Get them away from their gym I like our odds to bringing number 6 back. But we still got a lot of season left so first thing first lets bring home a championship trophy from poplar bluff. Good luck guys.

Did parker stewart play last night?

Next years team could surprise us; we were no where in the conversation of winning a state championship in 2013 cause all the players we lost from a decent 2012 team. So with the dedication they had going into that season who says it cant happen again. The blowouts that we had were good for one thing and thats give the younger players experience and thats really going to help. The question will be who will be our signal caller. Cace got some experience there when Walton was sidelined; so will it be him or could someone give him some competition? Also who will step in at fullback?

Got to remember we lost by only 10 to Mitchell at there place. This year with what we have; I can see us beating Mitchell in the Boro. And even better it could be for the state championship. The talent we have plus the addition of Parker Stewart; just made the odds even better.

UC completely dominated Halls. Guess all the hype on them were just nothing but how big the difference is between 1st and 2nd place.

Actually he did win it. All district team was announced in the paper Henry won mvp jernigan was voted best o-lineman and cook best kicker. And we had I think 8 other uc players voted to all district. And from what understood is they just had voting tabulated I think earlier this week cause its usally done a few weeks after the season is over.

The argument between the LC point of view is that Wilkes should be mvp because he had almost 3,000 yards rushing but what they dont understand is did he help out the teams winning ways and yes they made the playoffs but they have to look at that henry helped UC to an undefeated season along with a state championship. Those accolades stand out when it comes to voting.

As expected Henry receives MVP for the district. I know some of the Lake Co. faithful will disagree; but it is what it is, and he is very deserving of the honor.

I talked to parker and he told me he gats the cast off tomorrow then its 2 weeks of rehab. So he should be back after the holidays.

Its been this way for years the parents just want there children to go to central. It was that way when I went to school and we were one of the smallest 2A schools with just over 400 and central had over 1000. I have been told by a friend that the academics at central are easier; they dont challenge you a whole lot. There have been some bad things that I have been told about like a few years ago a friend of mine had a son go to central and allowed smocking on campus. The old head football coach would invite players to his house for a beer; that coach is no longer there. So sounds to me they have some freedom over there so that could be another reason. And all these are facts cause I heard them from his sons mouth.
