Polk has an awesome kid in miller in more ways than one, but that is it... Davis is probably the one of if not the best coach in the area and Polk has BY FAR the best back drop of any stadium in the state that I have seen. That being said, miller will be shut down again, no fault of his own or coaches, but they have been exposed and WV will take advantage. Poontangs in a close one 28-20

This was my point if poorly stated, where I'm from we consider these "open enrollment schools" private. Alcoas maryvilles have a super advantage in getting kids, just look at their little league and track where the kids come from for the past decade of dominance--- neighboring counties and outside the city limits of these two programs. How do you compete unless you establish a TRUE public league?

Agreed: this post isn't limited to any high schools. Bigger advantage is questionable, but the point is how much is spent on football and does that play a role in consistent success. T$$AA thinks not. I disagree.
