  1. TD AC, PAT is good, 14-14 10:44 left in half. The Freshman QB is looking good right now. Last TD was a pass to Thrasher from around 13 yards out on 3rd down
  2. End of first QTR, Herritage 14, AC 7. AC was down 14-0 and brought the freshman QB In and drove for the score then had a pick and are driving again
  3. Hey Seahawks, looks like this game is the Roane Metals game of the week so u should be able to stream it online. I may be wrong, but I think the following is the Link: http://original.livestream.com/bbbchannel12 Hope this helps
  4. I think it is fair to say we should be worried about every game this year lol, I just think AC will get it done tonight
  5. I am picking the Mavs this week, this was one of the games I picked them to win at the start and nothing I saw Friday is deterring me from that. The Defense looked very good on Friday and had the offense not put the D in such bad spots, such as throwing a pick 6, fumbling inside our own 20, dropping a wide open TD pass then throwing a pick in the endzone on the next play, and of coarse the penalties and mistakes were crazy. We had a drop on the first possession on a seem route that was wide open that would have put us in Greeneville territory easily, but dropped it, then had a delay of game, then an intentional grounding that made us punt from deep inside our own territory to set up a FG for Greeneville. Had the offense not done so poorly we could have gone into halftime up by 7 instead of down by 7 and then the offense pretty much gave up 14 pts in the first 2 plays of the 2nd half. If the Mavs can get a few things on that side of the ball ironed out than they will be competitive this year despite their youth. But when you play a team as good as Greeneville you can not make those mistakes. I really liked what I saw out of our Freshman QB, he has a good arm and some serious wheels. I also think that the staff will find ways to get the ball into thrashers hands, he was by far the best athlete on the field on Friday night and needs the ball. He was making plays at the line of scrimmage on defense from the safety spot, he impressed me. I think this will be a good game and the mavs will come out on top: Mavs: 24 Herritage: 14
  6. Easy now, don't start bringing me into your little quarl lol
  7. I think this one could be a very good game...I am going to go with Clinton 34-28
  8. This very well could be true, could snowball on both sides for both teams.
  9. Hadn't heard about the QB, but also had heard that CC had the ball inside the 20 3 times without coming out with any points. I also know that Justin Price is a good offensive mind and will get things figured out on that side of the ball. And Gibbs is not a cupcake either, I remember very clearly a Gibbs team almost beating CC in the regular season and CC having to score on defense to win and then blowing them out in the post season. 5A looks wide open right now and I could be wrong, but just feel CC will get it figured out. This also may be the year Central gets it going, Never know.
  10. And good luck to you the rest of the way
  11. I think CC will rebound this week, but it will be close: CC: 27 Central: 21
  12. If this game is close it will be because it's low scoring, Oak Ridge will be too good on Defense for there to be a lot of points by DB. If OR can get their offense going than this could be a big win for the Wildcats. DB should be more talented than the Clinton team overall, but I doubt they have a QB like what OR just faced so I think OR will keep DB in check all night and win this one: OR: 31 DB: 14
  13. Oak ridge has a lot of talent, they will get the offense together and be a force come years end when it counts...still my pick for the area. Just hope they don't get it together before we meet up lol. From the sounds of the defense we may not get a point in that game lol
  14. Yes, good team and as they get better they will be a force this season, I enjoyed the trip, though not the outcome I hoped for, nice facilities and everyone seemed hospitable, good luck the rest of the way
  15. Freshman QB came in and looked real good, he throws the ball well and has some wheels, I think when he learns the offense a little better he should start. I also think they need to find more ways to get Thrasher the ball, that kid is a beast and was all over the field. He has some serious wheels and was continually making plays around the line of scrimmage from the safety position...he was beating the linebackers to the ball easily from 15 yards back, he could be special, I think he needs to be in the backfield in place of #16, #16 looks like he runs timid and if he doesn't start running and stop reading looking for an openinng is going to get seriously rocked and will not be very effective running the ball. On our first drive 23 dropped a skinny slant where ther was no one around him, would have been at least a 30 yard play and maybe more on a series where we went 3 and out. We then dropped a TD pass in the second qtr and threw a pick on the next play in the ends one and on the first 2 offensive plays of the first half had a fumble and a pick 6 to set up 14 pts for Greeneville. If our offense would have just been consistently serviceable we would have been in the game, still don't think we would have won due to the physicality of Greeneville and our youth, but we would have been in the game. I think we had 3 or 4 delay of games that put us in bad position, coaches need to get a handle on that, as it was mostly them getting the call in from the sideline too slow, this is the one area that we are cositantly bad at early in evey year, I am sure Davey and crew will fix it, but it is frustrating and this team is not good enough to overcome those mistakes. Defense looks stout and I like their fight, just too many mistakes as a team. One more head scratcher for me is our kickoff, 11 seems to have a good leg and we line up like we are going to pooch kick and then he takes a 4 step drop and kicks it to the 5 yard line, I don't like that at all for a few reasons, first is that if he can put it at the 5 with a 4 step drop than why are we not either pooching it to the 20-25 cross field or letting him just kick it deep, He looks like he is capable of putting it in the end zone if they just let him, but if not than why kick it deep from a 4 step drop where the ball sails low and coverage is not at full sprint at the kick, the returner was at the 30 yard line before coverage gets there and had he had any kind of a seam it would have been a TD. Either play it to kick it deep or pooch it to be safe, the in between does nothing but hamper coverage and I see no up side
  16. I have not been on here very much over the offseason and was just reading through all of the threads trying to catch up and ran across this, now I am usually the one fan from AC that tries to be very fair in this whole CC vs AC pissing contest and think that both sides blow this way out of proportion, but I have to say this is such a moronic statement that I can not help but say something. I hear year in and year out about how CC is going to beat AC this year and it never happens, now that AC and CC don't play All I hear is how CC would beat AC if they were to play. And you are saying how Solid CC will be this year and I have seen where other fans are talking about how this would be the best team CC would field....seriously? Carolina seems to be the only realistic fan on here, he picks CC to go 5-5 or 6-4 and gets blasted over it and you CC fans act like the AC ones are the ones with our heads in the clouds. The last few seasons the majority of AC fans picked us to be pretty tough and to win certain games and got blasted about how arrogant we were but how did those seasons end? Just as we predicted, now most AC fans pick us to go 5-5 at best and all I hear is how CC fans think they would kill us and that we were dogging you, funny considering 2 of the teams that we scheduled as non district will probably be deep playoff Contendors that are talented and have a lot of history of success, and a 3rd is our crosstown rival. Why would AC schedule CC? I mean all I hear is how our coaches and fans can't let the kids play and make the game bigger than what it is, but the CC fans are the ones on here making statements like this when you are also in a rebuilding year. I mean heck, last year was the best CC team in your schools history and AC was just comin off of a season to where they lost a lot of talent and were "down" from the year before and all I heard was how that was the year, how did that work out? I mean seriously, how can anyone talk crap about an AC team and their fan base and then post the garbage that is posted here. I am the first AC fan to praise CC when they do good, because they have the right coaching staff for the community and have turned the program around and I commend them for that, but at some point reality has to set in for you and figure out that just like AC, you are not Maryville and are just another average high school football team that will have some up and down seasons. AC has been notorious for having some strong non district games on their schedule to help them get better and this year is no exception as we have scheduled very good teams in the non district in Oak Ridge, Greenevilled which are both going to be 10+ win teams and a very solid Clinton team which is not only our rival, but also will in my opinion be better than CC And could very well beat us. All this in a year when we play Catholic and Fulton, that is a brutal schedule for a rebuilding team as young as AC, and for CC fans to just automatically put your team on a pedestal and to act like you are in that category of the Oak Ridges, greenevilles and Fultons of the world is just arrogant and laughable to hear how we "dodged" you when you got the upper hand. I wish CC a good season and hope you win a lot of games, but I think you need to realize that when someone continually schedules strong opponents as non district to go along with an already toughs instruct schedule and you are not on it it's probably not because we "dodged" you, but maybe it's because you are not as relevant as you like to think. Good luck to CC the rest of the year, and good lord stop talking crap and bringing AC into every conversation you have and have an enjoyable season, I know I will
  17. Was not expecting that at all, I was shocked when I saw the score...better luck next week
  18. Did I just see that Gibbs won tonight?
  19. AC's offense has just killed us, fumbled the ball on our own 20 then threw a pick 6 for 2 quick scores...youth showin bad at the moment...24-3
  20. Close game so far in Greeneville...both defenses playing hard and both offenses struggling but showing signs of getting it together. Greeneville dropped a TD pass to set up a long FG and then AC hit a FG that was set up by a double pass but AC dropped a pass that would have been a good gain of not a score. AC had a defensive lineman injured that was really playing the run strong and Greenville started getting their running game going and scored. AC then drove the ball 73 yards with nice passing from Holmes...Dropped an easy TD pass and on the next play threw a pick in the end zone that was returned to the 28, Greeneville ran a draw and picked up big yardage but that ends the half with Greeneville up 10-3. AC gets the ball to start 2nd half. Greeneville has a real good kicker that crushes the ball. AC's youth is showing with penalties and starting to get tired up front...don't think AC can continue the effort the way they are, but hope I am wrong...good half of football so far, little sloppy at times, but both teams playing hard
