You say "no one can fault them" yet you are the one that first attached the negative term "selling out" in this thread to players that make that decision. By definition of the term you are, in essence, faulting them. IMO

So is it "selling out"?? Is it not the total purpose of players to gain exposure, improve themselves against competition both in practice and games and sign college scholarships? It's not about the program's whether it be Flight or a small more localized team. It's about the kids, and if they or their family feel the best to play with a bigger, more established and frankly one of the best programs (Flight or otherwise) I think it's very wrong to categorize that as "selling out". I feel the same about a player/family choosing to transfer or select the high school/coach they want to play for. These "3rd/4th grade" teams/programs the players start with don't hold ownership over these players for the rest of their playing careers just because of simply geography or proximity. Would anyone fault a senior in high school who had been recruited by smaller schools they're whole HS career to turn down a D1 offer at the last minute in fear of "selling out"?

That list of 20 is pretty good, I agree OldK probably would have Smoth Co. just inside top 10 IMO. I'm not as familiar with those teams out west. Fans out there is it accurate?

Hilarious!! Before I planned on winning multiple region games I'd concentrate on beating our #4 seed first.

Look I'm all for you getting your wins if that is what you guys are all about in Smithville but don't get on this message board talking about how "sharp" he is and how it prepares them with confidence for the district when through some quick CoachT research his district record the past 3 years (counting the game Tuesday) is a combined 4-31. And before you start talking about how hard the district is (which it is) during that span he has played 15 district games decided by 9 points or less......his record in those games 3-12!

It is hard to call LOL, just yesterday you said it was LA, CC, Central and dogfight for 4th. Now after last night CC dominates you the Lady Owls bump CC out? Welcome back to the district!! You might be in a dogfight to stay out of 8th LOL

It was a great win for the Lady Owls last night, was down 15 in the 2nd half and came back to win against a very athletic/talented Smyrna team! Melton made some huge shots and Hackett played outstanding. Going to be a good year for the SCHS girls this year!!

I look for Smith Co. to have a good season and surprise some people!
