  1. If I can hang with you, @pujo and @dogtruth I'd be a happy camper. I've got a few Friday's games I'm still mulling over. But I believe I heard pujo say once, you can mull too much or something to that effect.
  2. Week 3 Big Ones was another rough outing for most including myself. I went with ALL favorites and got burnt. (burning man) Week 3 results: Thursday: 0-1 (yeah, I took WG) Friday: 10-7 (really?) (yeah really) Dawgs: None <8: 4-2 Rank 21 Analysis: Just an absolutely brutal week for most. I'm lucky to have my head above the waters I guess. On the bright side, if there is one, I'm only 4 back. So, maybe, just maybe, with a little bit of luck I can find a couple rabbits and pull them outta the hat this week. Good luck.
  3. Welp, week 2 was rough picking. Week 2 results: 14-10 Dawgs 1-1 (Heritage) - (Lebanon) Games <8: 4-4 Rank 12th Analysis: Tough week. Looks like a lot of pickers had a rough outing this week as I missed on 10 of 24 but only fell 2 spots. Looks like everyone that picked missed the Greeneville @ Dobyns-Bennett game that was called due to lightning in a 14-14 tie. @CoachT, maybe for fairness sake this game's results should be thrown out. Everyone that didn't pick the game doesn't lose the game and winds up with a better % for doing so. Those of us that did pick the game didn't have the option of picking a "tie" game so therefore we all lost. I believe the TSSAA has declared a no contest. Anyways, moving on to week 3. Good luck!
  4. I agree. The talent level drops sharply after about 5-6 teams.
  5. I've got 2 dawgs. I'm sure there are more than two but I couldn't pull the trigger on 'em. Good luck.
  6. I agree with this. Losing to top tier programs isn't embarrassing. You don't get better playing subpar competition regardless of classification. What's embarrassing is never playing any of those schools you deem to be superior while playing inferior teams out of region.
  7. Week 1 results: Thursday 1-2 Friday 18-3 Overall 19-5 10th place My Dawgs went 1-2 Games decided by <8 : 5-3 Most embarrassing pick : JPIII Analysis: Like pujo said, Week 1 is a crap shoot. After a 1-2 start and appearing to have fallen off the face of the earth, while looking up from the pits of the darkest depths, I cleaned up nicely on Friday. Good luck!
  8. SP has a good mix of experience and youth. With about a 47 man roster or so, around 30 are sophomore and freshmen. I'm gonna buy me one of those Stone mans programs tonight and get a closer look. Go Pirates!
  9. So who all is playing this year? @pujo? I can't remember how well or how badly I did last year. But, oh well, I've got my lucky penny. Fixing to make my picks. Thanks @CoachT Good luck!
  10. There were 4 upsets but I didn't pick any of them. 8-4 in week 4 of the playoffs. Games <8: 2-2 Stayed in 5th. Spinning tires. Any spoilers this year?
  11. 12 games this week. I think there will be two upsets of the 12. But which 2?
  12. Postseason week 3: 23-7 Dawgs: 4-2 (Beech,CPA, McK, ENash) - (EHam*, Peabody) Games <8: 4-4 (four losses here hurt) Up 3 spots to 5th * I've overestimated East Hamilton a couple times this year in the pickem contest. I doubt I'll be doing that again this year. Not much time left. The season has dwindled away all too quickly. Good Luck
  13. Week 2 of playoffs: 15-4 Dawgs: 3-0 (Riverside, Springfield, Union City) 50% : 1-0 (Huntingdon) Games <8: 6-0 Good week. Moved up 11 spots to 8th.
  14. I've got 3 dawgs and 2 pups. Rolling the dice.
  15. Beginners luck ST. Nothing more. lol. I had one dawg. Macon Co. (0-1*) Games <8: 1-1*
