Week 11 results Thursday: 3-0 Friday: 11-5 Total: 14-5 YTD: 159 - 55 74.30% Dawgs: 1-4 Huntingdon) - (Fairview, *Gordonsville, *DCR, *CCS Games decide by <8: 4-4* Placement: 21 (-7) Games back: 13 Analysis: Welp, I had an average week for myself. Nothing special, about a 74% clip. I wanted a top 10 finish but my dawgs failed me once again with two of them losing by 1 point and another by 7. I fell back 7 spots but I was aiming for a better position inside that top 10 where all the cool kids reside. Oh well, I'll go back to the drawing board. Congratulations to orangecrush. That's some mighty fine picking and a grinnin'. I'll see you pickers in the playoffs. So pack yourself some food and a change of clothes, because its gonna get real these next 5 weeks.

I've got 3 straight up dogs. Another 2 that are right below the 50 cent mark. I may or may not make the top 10, but, I have noticed a trend of sorts this year, that would have ones self in the top 10. I will continue to monitor this as it needs more than just 1 year of analysis. It may just be an anomaly. Anyways, looks like I caught the Great Pujo. I can't take any satisfaction in that so much as he went with Hampton over Boone. You just can't pick against your very own flesh and blood. Honestly, I was hoping they'd pull it off and they dang near did. As always good luck pickers!

I have made my Thursday picks. I still have a handful of Fridays games yet to select. I do think there are a couple or three I could put my chips on and let it ride. Last week of regular season. However it breaks, I've had my fun. Good Luck.

Week 10 results: Thursday: 3-0 Friday: 16-5 = 19-5 total Dawgs 1-0 (Sequatchie) Games <8: 2-2 Placement: 14 (+3) Games back 11 (-1) Analysis: There were several picks as usual that could have made up ground but I didn't select them. Not many did. Oh well, I've scratched my way to 14th and right there is the top 10. So close, yet so far away. With one week left in this regular season contest I've got to find a couple diamonds.

Got the rest of my picks selected. I started out in 79th place after week one. I climbed as high as 11th a couple weeks ago after the Thursday games were totaled, but gave away my gains the next day on Friday and fell back to 15th. Sitting at 17th right now. There's a few games in the contest that could go either way. I hope I'm on the right side of them. We shall see. Good luck.

Week 9 results: Thursday: 1-0 Friday: 13-5 Total: 14-5 Dawgs: 0-2 (Red Bank, East Hamilton) Games decided by <8: 3-1 (not bad) Placement: 17 (-4) Games back: 10 (-2) Analysis: As always, there's no room for error. Dropped 4 spots and 2 more behind the leader. My dogs let me down. (Knew better anyways.) Only 2 weeks of regular season left. I need to try and make the top 15. I'd be good with that. Especially knowing a few of my picks I've made this year were complete head scratchers. There's some really good pickers in this contest. Got my work cut out for me. Good luck.

Both of my dawgs turned into Wile E Coyote. I'm actually almost too embarrassed to say who they were. But, I thought I had found a couple diamonds, you know, a couple golden nuggets. They were nuggets alright. Like chicken nuggets and not even the full 20 piece. More like a 4 piece with 4 pieces missing. I seen a commercial once that sorta depicts my situation about right now. You know that one that goes "help, I've fallen and I can't get up." Yeah, that one.

I've got 2 dawgs. One is Yuge! Stay tuned.

I'm fixing to make the rest of my picks. I believe I can find a dog or two. A couple diamonds in the rough. Hopefully not fool's gold.

I've only made about half of my picks thus far. I need to take a closer look at a handful. I don't see any straight up dawgs. What I need to find is at least one diamond in the rough. The diamonds are few and far between and will just get more scarce. Time is ticking away on this regular season contest and if anyone needs or wants to make a move towards the top then they'd better get at it.

Week 8 results: Thursday: 5-3 Friday: 9-3 Total: 14-6 *Dawgs: 1-0 (Gatlinburg-Pittman**) Games <8: 1-3 Placement: 13 (+4) Games back: 8 (-2) Analysis: Not a great week by any stretch of the imagination. 70% pick rate this week wasn't shabby but that's not nearly good enough to reel in @orangecrush as they went 16-4 or @FBGIRL @Swipes , @BigBambinos21 & @rabbitranch the 15-5 group. I would have liked the Marshall Co/Pearl Cohn* game to have counted, as Pearl was my other dawg, but that game was moved from Friday to Thursday, so @CoachT made the right call in removing it from the contest. The biggest mover this week of the contest that I noticed was @VolFBRatings who went 18-2 moving up from 51 to 21st place. Also it looks like @toinemac our leader early on in this contest must have found some of those nanner peels I left lying about and slipped on one, bumped that noggin' and forgot to make a majority of their picks this week, falling from 6 to 54th. Sorry bout that tony. ** Sorry bout that @pujo. I didn't root against your boys, I just took a chance in trying to sneak up on you. @dogtruth we are side by side now, so, tag, you're it.
