  1. And real soon we will see if I was right. Down 11 into the 4th.
  2. Plainly said IF Clarkrange has to extend defense and guard man to man. Thus far they haven't had to.

  4. Should be if st any point Clarkrange has to extend defense and guard man to man.
  5. Can't believe Levy threw herself on the floor and didn't get a call. Don't think she could either.
  6. If I am PC I am attacking with whoever Levy is guarding. Upperman "hides" her on the weakest perimeter threat. As good as Levy is offensively she is a mediocre defender at best.
  7. PC guard quickness has been a problem matchup wise for Upperman. Levy is the only player on Upperman that PC has any problems with athletically. Levy may be able to get PC bigs in foul trouble but PC guards may get Levy in foul trouble. If they do PC wins fairly easily.
  8. If Clarkrange has any shot to win they better be ahead going into the 4th. If they are behind and have to play man to pressure SG at any point it may well be the Middleton game from a couple years ago. Clarkrange needs to limit turnovers to have a legitimate shot , SG needs to push pace every possession and make it a full court game. Just my opinion.
  9. Dog pile must've lasted forever?!? Doesn't matter how long it took, the team should've waited and shook their hands. McWilliams is arrogant, always has been. But never had the results to be. That team should've walked through the district and won the region without much problem. His teams always underachieve. Karma is a great thing. Maybe they can reload with a few more transfers next year.
  10. I didn't see that but CM coach was not happy at the end with the refs. Guess I know why. When they hit the 3 I looked and think there was 2.4 left. We just held the ball out of bounds until clock ran off. Had a legitimate complaint, if he was trying to call one. Especially at home.

  12. York 48, Magnet 46. Magnet hit a 3 near final buzzer to cut it to 2.
  13. Aaron is not coaching PC. Quit 2 weeks before season started. Joseph Ammonette is coaching this year.
  14. Clay Co Pickett Co Jackson Co Monterey Clarkrange If I remember right that is what they had in the paper this week.
  15. York wins 42-35! Outscored the Owls 35-7 in second half. Big games from Probst and Cravens. D really stepped up in 2nd half.
  16. Touchdown Cravens 0:32 left. Kick is good. York 42, Smith Co 35
  17. York football 1st & 10 from Smith 47 yard line. 1:25 left. Still tied at 35.
  18. York 35 Smith 35 10:00 left in 4th York was down 28-7 late in 2nd.
  19. You and the other experts may be right. But we will soon see. I don't believe YAI will be 7th or 8th in this district if they are healthy. Legitimately, anywhere from 3rd to 6th. I hope everyone picks this bunch of kids last, they could surprise some folks. Nice to go into a season with zero expectations or pressure.
  20. 1. Upperman 2. Smith 3. Macon or York 5. Livingston 6. Dekalb or Magnet 8. Cannon Other than Upperman the district in my opinion will be way weaker than the last couple of years, very competitive but much weaker overall.
  21. What are you talking about?. What I said couldn't have been more in defense of these kids and the Rush program. Don't understand why you think anything I said was unflattering or anything else negative. My post was in response to the one before mine that said the task now would be to keep those kids together for 4 more years, I answered both HS and AAU scenarios. And if that person was referring to these kids staying together in HS I said that was unrealistic since they are in multiple school systems and it is. You won't find a bigger fan of that bunch of kids and what they accomplished than me, my kid played on it.
  22. That is very unrealistic. These kids came from what will be 5 or 6 different High Schools (Pickett Co , Livingston Academy, Dekalb Co, Macon Co and either or possibly both York Institute and Clarkrange). It would be like keeping all the Nike Flight kids together at one HS. Niow if you are talking about keeping them on the same AAU team, I don't see after a national championship any reason why they would go to another organization. In fact, it is more likely that a good number of high talent Upper Cumberland kids that played for other organizations would want to, for the first time be competitive with the big name teams and also save money & time by playing for the TN Rush. TN Rush has made great strides over it's time as an organization, so much so that they are competing with (and in a couple of age groups actually beating) the much larger Flight, Pride, Force, Fire, Sol, etc programs. The fact that the TN Rush is even in the conversation with those programs is a testament to the founder, Matt Ferrell, the coach of this team, Josh Agee, all the coaches and most importantly the kids from the Upper Cumberland who make up the Rush organization.
  23. He is certainly Upperman quality.
