Yes I did. I'm a Central fan but I'm not like many Central fans who b*tch and whine when we're just flat outplayed and outcoached. I actually got up and moved to another section in the 3rd quarter to get away from Central fans.

A couple days ago I said the outcome of this game could depend on what the “other†players beside Levy & Lynn do. Upperman’s “other†players delivered big time with 50+ points, while Central’s scored 30+. And don’t get me started on Morgan’s insistence to stay in a man to man defense!

My fellow Central fans: Quit your whining and bellyaching. I'm sitting here watching the game and Upperman is outplaying us - plain and simple.

Levy vs Lynn will be worth the admission price. This game may come down to how the other players on each team does.

Congratulations to Westview and Elizabethton for the great game and finish. You hate to see either team lose in a game like this, but that's the price you pay at State. What makes me feel good is the Grainger Co. fans telling me that McMinn Central was as good, and maybe a little quicker than Elizabethton. But McMinn Central has to get by a very good Upperman team before they think about playing in the Championship game.

That's the sign of a good team when you can battle back from a 7 point halftime deficit to beat a good team at State. Does Upperman have any tall athletic players, particularly at low post?

Our coaching is good, not great. Not having the height and strength of Trentham and Myers from last years team may be our Achilles Heel in State competition this year. I think the Grainger game will be closer than some think, with Central pulling it out at the end.

But, but, but White County made all those 3 pointers this year and they made it to the field of 32 before Bradley beat them by double digits. And since Blackman only beat Bradley by 30, I'm sure White County could play with anyone at State.

I was hoping Jacobi Lynn (McMinn Central) would win in AA, but Miss Marosites was the natural favorite to win and is very worthy of this award. Congratulations!

As a McMinn Central fan I agree with you about many of the GCA's fans that are classless and it's an embarrassment for them to represent a school with a 'Christian' label. Every school has some of these fans but it seems to me from two different encounters I attended that GCA was involved, they epitomized classless and tacky far more than other schools.

Same with McMinn Central, only one Senior. If both teams can find a good replacement they'll be strong again next year.

I don't think we're making excuses, but McMinn Central normally shoots better from the free throw line, and much better from the field. LA did play good defensively and kept Jacobi neutralized quite well in holding her to 19 points. LA also rebounded much better than Central. Central coach Morgan did some very odd substituting last night, having freshmen in there at critical times. And my biggest gripe, he stayed in man to man the whole game.

Is Lamb #14? She's a very good all around player, but has a temper. When she came off the floor with her 4th foul she slammed the chair with her fist. When she fouled out she pointed toward the ref when she got to the sideline and cursed him, then she kicked the chair and slammed the chair with her fist again. The ref didn't see any of that or she would have got a technical.

McMinn Central won by 3, 68-65 I think. Central was terrible from the free throw line tonight.

Playing in Athens would have been a great idea. Huge gym, and close to both Bradley and WV. I just can't understand the TSSAA turning the request down.

The joke is on you because I support McMinn Central. Since White Co. destroyed McMinn Co you'd think they could easily beat a Bradley team who only beat McMinn Co by 10. Ahhh...but that's where coaching and skill comes in. McMinn is familiar with Bradley since they're in the same district, and though the Cherokees lack skill and talent, their coach knew how to scheme them to make it close. He didn't have the tools to compete with White County's style of play. White County wasn't familiar with playing a well coached team with the skillset of Bradley's, and lost by double digits!!!!! White County has a good team, but you folks in Sparta need to get out in the real world.
