Oh, BOOHYA3x, ironically Chelsey Perry and tca #11 Brynne Lytle (this is the correct spelling of her name, btw) are friends and had one heckuva a summer last year along with Paige Pipkin when it came to the AAU circuit They straight balled! I would have come over and introduced myself after the game but decided not to because I am sure you were still absorbing the loss and given the short time to process the loss did not want you to think I was coming over to taunt or to fight. #11 is my kid and I am very critical of her game, but your opinion of her game was way off on this thread and you felt it tonight. I have the utmost respect for your program and coach, not so much for you because you like to call out MY kid (who is a 17 year old girl in HS) and Boo accomplishments that she and her coach made during the year that were voted on unanImously by all the coaches in the district But that is another issue that you will eventually seek counseling for. If you want to know who I am, ask Chelsey's dad. He knows me and I would consider him a friend. He can point me out to you. I Love him and Love his girl! Great people! She can straight up ball and has a HUGE career ahead of her at Martin! If you need further assistance, I kept the TCA book tonight at the table. Booyah, why all the hate pointed at TCA? Last I checked we were in the same district! It was pretty classless to boo our player of the year, coach of the year and boo us when we were introduced for the Region semi's. You have throttled us the last several years and i have heard no boos but when we beat you twice in the regular season the boo birds are singing. Sore losers and Poor sportsmanship in my opinion especially when you are yelling at and intimidating up close and personal to 14-18 year old girls. Let the student sections do all the classless stuff since they are just dumb kids of the same age and let us adults just cheer positively for our players and negatively toward the refs! Lol. That is correct and both games will be played Saturday night.

It was Scotts Hill that they beat by 20 instead of Riverside. Riverside beat BTW and will play Middleton at 6 on Monday night. Havent spoken to anyone who went to the game but that 20 point spread may be a little inflated with FT's at the end because last year Scotts Hill went into Mitchell and upset them by 4. I have seen Mitchell play once. They are athletic and like to press and create offense off turnovers. They have a very talented point guard that can get to the rim and can distribute along with a couple of other solid players. The game i saw was very physical and had a significant number of fouls called. That being said, if that game were being played in west tn, there would have been double the amount of fouls. Mitchell v TCA will come down to how the game is being called. Either team could win, but playing in Jackson, I am going with TCA.

Here is my final comment on this subject. TCA is no CPA. They have not recruited, never have. They have not made several trips to the glass house nor dominated single A play. They have made the region semi-finals the last 3 years which, given the state of district 16A in Memphis, anything less than a region semi-final appearance would mean the season was not successful. Accuse them of being cheaters once they make multiple appearances in Murfreesboro. You will still be way off base, but at least you will have a reason to accuse them of cheating.

Do some research before you paint with "that brush," the one that decided to come over in the 7th grade on her own volition plays less than half of the game and averages 3 points. I assure you noone on the TCA girls team was recruited!

They must have some real talented scouts at TCA. They evidently recruit kids and are able to spot talent at 4 and 5 years old since all but one of the players have been there since kindergarten and first grade. Other private schools may recruit, however you are way off base painting Trinity with that broad brush! Way off!

I see this as a two woman race between Ashton Baker (Northpoint) and Anna Jones (USJ) with the nod going to Jones. She is averaging 21.2 pts, 8.8 rebounds, shoots 58.9% from the field, 77.6% from charity and averages 3.5 steals per game. The reason I give Jones the nod is because with her height, she can (and does) play from the 1 to the 5 and can score effectively from anywhere on the court. I see both of these girls squaring off in the state title game!

Doesn't Pipkin go to Chester County? It is Shutes at Haywood. Both will thrive at the next level! Pipkin one year before Shutes.

I think you are spot on. South Side is always tough and physical, however if they get whistle happy refs, they could struggle with foul trouble. Still think they will win their district. Westview wins their district, Dyersburg edges out the rest to squeak out second.

My vote goes to Coach Burkley! He is hard to argue against being the best! Gets it done year in and year out!

I think you are spot on here. Not sold that 1-4 are wide open. I feel like 1 and 2 will most likely be westview and dyersburg. 3-6 will be WIDE open. Westview just has too much talent even without Tasia.
