SO MUCH FOR THE UPSET !!!

Well, as I read the quotes from last night game I can't help remember the number of people on here who said GC would win and win easily. Someone was wondering why no JCHS fans are not talking about the game before last night. Unlike some on here predictions are not OUR thing. Maybe next time it will not be GC fans thing either. Do not count a team out because they were 2-8 last year or how a team plays in scrimmage. I have no idea how JCHS will do the rest of the season, but as for last nights game 48-21 is a butt kicking no matter how you slice it ! As far as players having to play both ways, JCHS has several players going both ways, its just the nature of the game ( best eleven on the field). TO's happened to both teams, more so for GC, passes dropped, tackles missed, blowned coverages and refs miiing a call are part of the game. So I hope GC has a good season from here on out, just don't make more excuses for them if GC loses. GO PATRIOTS !!

It will never get any better until they have better assistant coaches. Since Kisabeth left every coach has had assistant coaches to deal with from the previous staff. There have been new coaches but not an entirely new staff. They have to work with what is left to them ! Administration will not pay for a better coach or assistants ! Jefferson County Administration wants a Cadillac coach on a Chevy budget !

Wrong !! JCHS girls are champions and they defeated M-W girls twice this season !

Jeff Co. has for the past few years has been slow out of the gate. Central had the short field on most every possession. Pats were terrible at tackling( go figure) and had too many penalties ! Will know more after this weeks game at South Doyal.

  Loudon came to Jefferson County saying they were going to play as many plays in their playbook as they could get in. Jefferson ran 6 plays, thats all. They did not prepare for Loudon, because it was meaningless. Scrimmages mean nothing but a glorified practice against someone other than your teanmates. I believe the score was Loudon 4 JCHS 3 for those who want a score ! Loudon knew what play JCHS was going to run every time, it was not that difficult. Loudon will have a good season in their classification, so don't read more into this than it deserves !!!

This was changed to tonight (thurs) to help out Elizabethton with a so called testing conflict. They called today and said they would not come because of wet field conditions at JCHS. The truth is they called Volunteer HS and set up a scrimmage for this Friday night so they cancelled their scrimmage with JCHS. WHAT A BUNCH OF COWARDLY WUSSIES ! Elizabethton will never be called again for any scrimmage any where !!

The linebackers coach is former Cater high school head football coach, Heath Woods ! The offensive Co-od. is Coach Brantlen (sp) . I don't know anymore about him yet !

Coach Witt will be the D-line coach.
