nobody said anything about the substate refs for SH...and THS was the ones complaining about the bad calls in districts, not us...i thought there were bad calls in districts but they were evenly called...regionals however might as well have been a circus, the officials were ridiculous...OldDoc08, were you there? if you werent shut your mouth. i approve of officiating that is equal between the teams, good calls or bad, they need to be called equally between teams. but i assure you the only refs we were complaining about were regional refs, so do some research before you accuse people olddoc08.

yea i get what your saying...ive never been one to blame the refs for a game, but those refs that were at viking hall last week for regionals were the worst group of refs ive ever seen...their calls were absolutely ridiculous...calling BS touch fouls on our players and not calling anything when someone from our team got knocked to the ground going up for a layup...calling clean blocks fouls in crucial parts of the game...when your close in a game, calls like that can definately ruin it... and as far as their "security" or whatever, i was pretty glad the expectations went for both sides....yeah right- they came over and told us to stop "cussing" or whatever, and we said does that go for both sides, and they hauled one of us off and told him to stop telling them to do their job....please. then after the game, when TN high was looking like a bunch of idiots cutting down the nets after a regional championship win we were standing watching in awe at how ridiculous it was, when "security" came up and asked us if we were looking for trouble, then said we had to leave...please. i paid my $5 why the heck cant i stay...thats bs. and about the net cutting, you really only shouldve cut it into 6 pieces since thats all that play, i mean, should ralphie or michael strahan really get a piece...cmon. but yea, TN high likes to get friendly with the refs before the game or something, but the calling was consistently bad for all games that week and probably substate, i dont know, i wasnt there. THS is gonna get worked by Siegel.

i said good luck and i hope you win...but its not gonna happen rankings dont matter at all, but id say 35th is about right for you guys, look at your record- 12 losses, 2nd worst of anyone at state, with one of the weakest schedules (compared to those west TN teams)...if you win on thursday i will be very surprised, glad, but surprised... so GOOD LUCK to the vikings on thursday. let ralphie and michael strahan play some!!!!

this year we were...we were 3-1 against them but they played 3 times on their home court, 1 on ours... they play good defense but that is all. i would kinda like to see Siegel beat the s*** out of them cause i think it would be funny, but ive already said on here that im pullling for them so i cant change my mind. but i really feel like you have a great chance of beating them Siegel 62 TN high 48

yeah right....Siegel by 20 at least. TN high, you better play your bench a lot....for 2 reasons: 1) give them a chance to actually play, they haven't all year, this will prepare them for next year when some of them will actually have to play cause im pretty sure you cant play with just shaud and #20 (who is awful) 2) this way, you can use the "we didnt have our best squad out there" excuse when you get waxed. and im not saying SHHS would do better, if we had won we wouldnt have much of a chance vs. Jackson North Side, so im not saying we would do better, im just stating facts here. i want tn high to win, but im pretty sure it aint gonna happen. the ship is losing water fast vikings...

you probably should start teaching the 15 kids that sit on your bench how to play basketball...i dont think they have got any playing time all through high school, put that guy that looks like ralphie from "a christmas story" or the guy that looks like michael strahan in sometime...or maybe that one kid that thinks he a bada$$, the redhead kid...im pretty sure they wont let you play with just shaud and awful #20, so you better start teaching the others the fundamentals of the game of basketball before next year rolls around... good luck against Siegel....hahahahahahahaha yea right.

no i assure you its not hard to believe...the psycho parents at Tennessee High tried to get in a fight with our student section after our win a couple weeks ago...it was pretty funny really...

yea and someone needs to tell shaud to have fun wasting time practicing during Spring Break and driving the whole way to "the boro" only to get ran out of the house by Siegel...while im at the beach, not the house. and you better bring some fans out there cause i hear the "nation" is gonna be packed, but then again, who wants to waste their time or money driving 5 hours knowing the game is over before it even begins. dont get me wrong, i want you to win, and i'll be pulling for you, im just saying that everyone will have to contribute largely, not just shaud and terrill, for you guys to even stay in it...GOOD LUCK, you are gonna need it.

Siegel will win... Tennessee High has NO depth, they play 6 players...and only 2 of them stand out as being good players, so unless they are making everything and other people are contributing besides Deshaud and Terrill, i think it will be a double digit victory for Siegel. vikings, its time for your ship to sink.

you can have your glory now, its a small price to pay for the dominance the toppers will have in the next few years... and you all better go ready to play against siegal or you will get worked. good luck though.

yea the games really are pretty even now...while home court advantage is important in these matchups, the talent is pretty much even between the teams. I know that Science Hill will be ready to play tonight, coming off the tough loss to Tn High on Friday...so it should be a good game... As far as TN high/ Clinton goes, i dont really know much about Clinton, but if they can get by TN high's defense and have any offensive game, they will be able to come out of there with the win im sure... GO TOPPERS

and #20 did not score on thursday either... and i do remember him turning the ball over a lot, and talking trash to us before BOTH games... we're not making fun of him for no reason...he was talking trash saying how much better he was than us BEFORE thursday and friday's games, and he couldnt back it up...he is TERRIBLE. and as far as thsballa said about us being whiny "biotches" or whatever, i believe i said good luck to you in the next game and i defended you by saying you weren't lucky, you played good in the 2nd OT...so stop that bs. but like i said before, you all better enjoy that win, hope you got to have a few beers or something after the game, cause thats all your getting from us for the next few years...

i dont know about saying they got lucky, they did pull it off in the 2nd OT, after our 2 game-winning opportunities failed.... but i dont agree with them talking trash to SH people when we have won 3, and we only played in the palace 1 out of 4 games...they had the benefit of home court and we only gave up one loss, so we were clearly the better team... i think the main problem with THS is they dont ever bring anyone off the bench...team's need diversity, everyone knows how the players on TN high play, to watch out for shaud driving in the lane, to watch terrill stepping out and shooting 3's, to watch that other guy for the occasional 3, to box out "goose", and to watch #20, well maybe not. i think that both teams have a tough road ahead, starting with monday's matchups...i have to say good luck to TN high, even though i hate every one of you more than anything right now, i still want someone from east tn. to go far in state...and Science Hill will be ready to play at Oak Ridge on monday...hopefully we'll be able to pull off the W. good luck to both teams.

estepp is so much quicker and smarter than deshaud...obviously, many people commenting on this didnt see both games last thursday to compare the two...estepp left many in the crowd with their mouths open...many in Science Hill's student section, which is amazing...nobody's mouth was open in our student section after shaud made a play cause none were nearly as impressive all season...but i can tell you that estepp is at a totally different level than deshaud. while deshaud is a great player, i dont think he is as quick or as smart as estepp...it's not even a competition. and i heard that estepp is probably going to go to a college around here...probably Milligan or ETSU.

yea i have to give it to you too...as much as it hurts to say this, you definately played better, maybe even smarter than us yesterday. you did a great job of stopping omar, and made it real tough for us to get past your zone...i also dont really agree with the holding the ball for all of OT, all for an off-balance shot at the buzzer, and you all did a good job of coming back in the 2nd OT. as far as the refs go, they were awful, but like i said before, im not blaming them for the game...good luck in the next few games though...im thinking that Clinton is gonna bring you all down to the wire and Science Hill is definately gonna have a hard time playing at Oak Ridge, but like we've seen last night, anyone can win...im just hoping either you or us can go to state and shut up the teams from the west, like its been said before on here, we hate each other around here, but we all like to see statewide recognition of the talent in east tennessee...so good luck in the next games to Science Hill and Tennessee High.

they play good defense, and they have 3 good shooters... but if you bring anyone off the bench, you already have an advantage over them...they play with 6 players. terrill #40 is a big guy that likes to step out and hit the 3's, but can also be a force down low, so you gotta watch him...dashaud #5 is a good ball handler, and he is a good shooter, mostly hitting the 10 foot jumpers, but occasionally hitting a 3 those are their two main players, one other can make a rare 3, and one can be an occasional force down low, but mainly their team is based around shaud and terrill... good luck to both teams.

first off, who cuts down the nets after a regional championship win?? that was the gayest thing ive ever seen...SWEET, you are going nowhere at state if you even win on monday. and about the refs, how are you gonna say they werent up your #### the whole game, those refs were AWFUL...im not blaming the game on them, but they were the worst refs ive seen in a long time. you all have no depth...while shaud and terrill are good players and "goose" is a good rebounder, and that other guy can make the occasional 3, thats all you got...when terrill and shaud are on, thats the only way you stay in it close...the only reason we didnt blow you out all year is you did a good job of stopping omar...good luck but stop talking trash on here, when we are 3-1 against you this year, and you only played once in the palace... all i got to say is: savor this win, cause its the only one you will get against us for the next 2 years at least. and good luck at substate and state- your gonna need it.
