Hope that shoulder mends for your boy to go wow the college recruiters this spring. About next year......y'all better get ready for a heavy dose of bracketing, doubling and even triple defensive schemes on #23. He's that good, and every coach that you'll play knows it. You had a TON of options this year to keep that from happening. I know GB always "reloads", but not many teams can lose as many as you lose without at least some sort of dropoff. We were prime examples of that this year. With that unprecedented senior class of yours leaving, I just hope he gets some help, so he can have the kind of year he deserves to go out with. Much respect to you and your family.....class acts all. What a legacy to leave for others to follow...... Well done!!!

Semantics are an interesting concept when trying to stir the pot. Just because a school calls a coach and talks to him, then that coach turns down the opportunity to pursue the interview process, does NOT mean a coach was interviewed. Heck, I can call 100 coaches and talk to them about a job. It doesn't mean that guy is interested in it. Nice try........

Oh man.....I had no idea. Seriously hate that for him and the team. There's not another team in your classification that could possibly lose a player like him and have a shot, but you guys can! You know he's my go-to guy. I'll for sure be praying he heals up, and GB and Lady spoil him rotten until he can get back at it. I hope he can get back for baseball. Then again, we don't even have a coach yet, so we may not be playing y'all like we used to.

If this pass defense is a real thing, y'all should have no problem with #23 beating double coverage and the speedsters burning one-on-one matchups.....####-uming of course you win Friday night to set up the matchup. Whitwell sounds like they've already combined rewards points and reserved all the rooms in Putnam county. If they're nice, maybe they'll free them up a day or two before y'all need them.

Back on Nov 2nd, Warhawk posted he'd seen both teams AND he thought CPA would end the streak. What do you say, Warhawk? Still have the same vibe? I really don't have a dog in this fight anymore, other than hoping FRA shocks the world, since they took us out. I just love an "underdog". All three teams are underdogs, until somebody knocks off the 2-time defending champs. My hope is to see FRA v CPA in Cookeville.

I guess that I missed that mess at the end. It seemed like two games all wrapped up in one between the first quarter and half and the rest of the game. I hate for any game to be influenced by officiating, but that crew just so happened to be the very same crew I referred to in a previous post.....seriously not joking! We had them twice this year. Good luck to FRA.....I love the way they just play and not chatter a bunch. How can you not root for a team with a stud named SPEED? I guess this sort of confirms what I've been thinking for awhile.....East region teams are way down from last year, with the exception of Silverdale and maybe CCS being just a tad better than last year. Everyone else took a step backward for one reason or another. Most of it had to do with line play.....ours was better last year, Webb and ND's were both better last year as well. I'm an underdog guy, so I'm rooting for FRA and CPA next week. Booger......I'm sorry y'all finished a couple games short of expectations. Your seniors have nothing to be ashamed of....they were an awesome class of ballers. Maybe I'll run into you during basketball season.

Just glad you're back my friend! I do think y'all are going to have it a little tougher than you've had it since week 1 in the trenches. Lock #6 down with Cam and stop their cutbacks, which you'll do much better than we could. That RB is a lot quicker than he looks at first glance. It should be a great game, if both teams play mistake-free football. You're our best shot to get the gold ball in our region. Wish you and the Irish the best tonight. Yep.....that's the program one last go-around. I'm not sure I would've been that dedicated. I always took a break in the winter and worked on baseball. I never was good enough to play basketball in Indiana in the 80's. That was serious stuff!

Yes.....some horrible chemistry in the fieldhouse and on the sidelines. I'm done with football, so I can now be open and honest. The kids knew what was going on. It was extremely frustrating for the small group of seniors, though I'm sure this season's lack of success will be/has been laid squarely on their shoulders. Whatever....... But, like you said.....water under the bridge....on to the future.....let's watch you guys go get that 3rd gold ball. My kid is chasing a repeat as well with the round ball! Nothing like catching your very last pass in the endzone, and then having to show up for a 6am basketball practice on Monday morning. Nobody can say he's not dedicated! I just wish he was as dedicated to cleaning up his bedroom.

I'm guessing y'all have plenty of folks that go on mission trips each year. They'd appreciate those shirts in Haiti or somewhere south of there. I hate we didn't make them more meaningful in the moment. Crazy year off Oak Ridge Hwy. Guess we should've seen it coming.

That's hilarious! I'm bored in a NC hotel room and just finished the podcast. I hadn't read your post. I thought the very same thing.....this response is going to be epic! I agree with Sparty. Its a matchup thing. Now, ND may come out and surprise me, but I believe this one is going to be a really good game. Wish I could be there. Good luck to your boys the rest of the way.
