Cville player lights out for one but MTP also had three starters out (Hurt during the Fville game the week before) which effects both sides of the ball. 2 of those guys were about 90% of the offense and defense production but #40 got his chance and after a couple weeks became a big weapon and a major part of the offense.

MTP has averaged probably less than 4 penalties per game. One incident last week of a temper being lost against MC (looked to be baited into it and the 2nd man always get caught). One unsportsmanlike penalty all year. Early losses could have been due to the injury bug. Both teams (8-2 vs 7-3) are on a winning streak and momentum going at the right time. could be the best matchup of the 1st round. go Tigers.

Can of worms: lets say they WIN the first round of the playoffs and the TSSAA decision is upheld and they are guilty. what happens in the 2nd round? does the team they defeated in the 1st round move on or does the 2nd round team get a bye to the 3rd round?

i remember at the beginning of the season Mike Molder and Lee Teat of Friday Main Event said this will be the most competitive and contested region for playoff spots. Any given Friday night. this region may not have a team with a losing record at the end of the season. Go Tigers

MTP was missing two senior play makers against Cville and Fville. Last week the injury bug hit QB as well. 1 was back against Huntland but lost at Huntland in a 17-14 heart breaker. Had chances to win that game but couldnt take advantage. Both are back but dont know if at 100% Go Tigers.

Other than last season, this has been a pretty good game since the series started. im going with the Tigers in RED AND BLUE at the jungle. btw: MP has a pretty good kicker this year

Mt Pleasant has to play in the Maury county jamboree. Nothing bad about it. As a homer i voted for my Tigers to win the region but the whole region should be in it. Cville, Huntland, MC all have great players and I hear Fayetteville has added a ton of players and several transfers that will help them compete. Richland should be improved and may surprise some teams Go Tigers

There you go, the MTP Rb that made it had 12 games with 1788 yards 24 TDs, over 2,000 all purpose yards. Mr Football Semi-Finalist... also passes the eye test. so he wasn’t beat out by a slouch

Some of you are sounding like the participation generation. Everyone gets a trophy. Those guys are great players but so are the young men on the list. They all have great stats. That’s what makes this list elite and special for the players on it. Who comes off to put your players on? Tough question. I’m sure the ones who chose the list worked every angle.
