  1. CA has run the ball 127 times in 3 games with Davidson carrying it less than half the time. (48 times) Davidson has 463 of the teams 907 rushing yards through 3 games.
  2. I agree. Pretty cool. I'd say you will see that a lot more from individual teams.
  3. Columbia Academy's RB Tre Davidson (3 Games) 48 carries 463 yards 9.6YPC. 3 rec 118 yards https://www.hudl.com/video/3/5561860/5b909b3766554d0c6c9a51d3
  4. yes... accidentally click on quote on yours.
  5. Remember these are for us adults to discuss... they don't amount to anything on the field or at the end of the year.
  6. Your bromance for Webb is hilarious.
  7. very athletic and yes a dual threat QB. He is a sophomore that's been at CA since 7th grade and is playing his 1st year at QB. He also missed a lot of July due to attending high profile baseball camps. With all of that being said this offense could be really scary later in the season once he gets more experience under the center.
  8. I totally agree... these are fun for us to discuss on platforms like this but are "Rat Poison" for the teams.
  9. your post is cracking me up. youngod did not mentioned anything about winning or losing. It's all about wondering if schools/coaches are more interested in winning JV and scrimmage games that developing their younger players.
  10. Columbia Academy's Individual highlights from the 35-15 win over Spring Hill. RB Tre Davidson - 124 rushing yards & 3tds and 76 yards receiving & 1td. RB/MLB Joshua Cook - 8 tackles, 7 carries for 51yds SB/SS Dawson Carter - 10 tackles, 1 Interception, & 5 carries for 51yds SS Jahdell LeeQuay - 11 tackles Now let's throw the records out the window... it Region 5 matchup week!
  11. fumblefest! Fumbled 4 times inside the 18 yd line (3 within 11 yds) on drives that we were moving the ball down the field.
  12. CA won an ugly 1st game 21-14 over Nashville Christian. CA's defense held NCS to 12 total yards rushing for the game (153 total yds). CA had a total 285 yards rushing as a team(449 total yds). QB Tears - 9/11 164yds, 3tds & 19 yds rushing. Tre Davidson - 17 carries 200 yds & 42yds receiving. Lansdell - 5 rec 79yds & 1td, defense: 4 tot & 1 fumble recovery. Esslinger - 3 rec 43yds & 2tds, defense: 1 sack. LeeQuay - 7 total tackels Modeste - 1int for 22yds
  13. Yes the running game is a strength of this team with RB Tre Davidson returning & leading the way. As for winning the Region... definitely a favorite but R5 is strong and it will be a battle each week. Nothing is a given!
  14. Don't know the whole reason why he only had 116 yards and no TDs, but I do know we played y'all during a period we were adjusting our offense to include a QB that had just recently decided to play football his senior year and joined the team a couple weeks before. After the Forrest game he scored 16 TDs in the next eight games.
  15. CA's RB Tre Davidson ran for a school record 1,812 yards last year as a junior. If the 4 preseason scrimmages against larger schools are any indication that record could be broke again this year.
  16. It was a scrimmage so who knows what the coach's game plans were but with only 2:22 minutes off the clock in the 3rd CA pulled their 1st team and most of their 2nd team with the score 28-13. Then with :13 left in the 3Q Giles Co scored to take the lead 34-28 with #12 Bryce Wallace still leading the offense. CA ended up putting a few 1st team guys back in at the end of the 3rd/ start of the 4th to slow it down for a series. You would have thought Giles Co fans and players were playing a Region Championship game by the way they were trash talking and cheering their team on while scoring on CA's reserves.
  17. 1st teams played the whole 1st half with CA up 28-6 CA only played it's 1st team a few possessions during the 2nd half with Giles Co playing their 1st team throughout the 3Q against CA's JV to get the game's score back in their favor. Final was either Giles Co. 42 or 41 to CA 35.
  18. AGREED! No one is going to benefit or change anyone's view by what's being said.
  19. CRAZY! Very unfortunate for Eagleville, but I don't see the TSSAA going back and changing the outcome. I can't believe that both Eagleville and Lead's scorebooks didn't caught the free throws!
  20. I don't really know. i was just noting that with the upset of Grace over Lead it put the two #1 regular season champs on the same side of the bracket. That's why I put "could face each other"
