So will Craigmont or Haywood be there? If not why would you think they would beat or play with Elizabethton. If they are good why don't they win the games to get there. Not trying to start a fuss. Elizabethton is not so much about players as they are a team. More than likely the only team to go 8 deep and not loose enough to notice.

I kind of think it may be more than the CD game. They really did not have anyone to handle the ball but don't like to jinx things be glad to win by one.

guys coaches in Rutherford county are living the good life. The biggest coaches supplement in Carter county I have ever heard of was 1500 dollars. If we paid 8000 dollars we could get a small college coach

One last thing. Nothing wrong with the TSSAA format in place because every school plays the same format. Would be a problem if this region or district got to do it different. Like all interstates are 55 as long as you know the rules a head of time can not gripe about the ticket. And like Dick Vital say Just win baby. That is the motto every kid should strive for. When my daughter was in eighth grade she was all conference all region and all state and I told her the two things she did all year that I was most proud of at each and every game she led the prayers for both teams after the game and at 8th grade night she spoke about her coaches and was not shy and backwards. Character is is not built by losses and for sure not by wins. Character comes from with in and begins with your actions and how you represent your self to the world we live in.

Here is my opinion. I will just be honest about what I see. I have a daughter that plays at elizabethton. She is a starter on the team and has had considerable playing time since her freshman year. What you guys are missing in this whole forum and especially warrior. i love my daughter no matter what and the game of basketball is just a moment in her life. I walked off the court with her in eighth grade winning a sectional championship and last year winning a championship and my comment to her both times was do not let this moment define your life. Enjoy it and build on it to achieve greater things. I see fans ever night at our games that take it to extremes that are to intense. They cannot help it so I ignore. You can watch me at a game and my expressions never change. Warrior enjoy those kids for the ladies and woman they are and will become and learn that basketball is just a tool in that process and have fun with it. The coaches did wrong and so did the young ladies. About one percent of these girls will play college basketball or less but they can learn to be great adults for all of us to enjoy way after basketball is over.

Lauren was on the bench in uniform during the state tourney and then did not come back out this year for basketball. Then she was not on the floor during the ring presentation.

now there was the first mistake you made these girls read this crap. And now you just told two sisters that are sixteen and kids that one was better than the other. That is a great point crazy and polls are polls you can never have a true national champion in high school they will never play that tourney. That is a true opinion poll. The only true national championship is in college basketball or as close as you can get to one. The best that all high schools can hope for is to win there state classification championship and that is plenty enough.

LOL the guy that does this poll could not win no matter where he moved Elizabethton. If he moved them up people would have griped he did it over peer pressure. If he moved them down or left the same he gets the same ole gripes. It is his opinion. Polls really mean nothing.

I do not agree with every elizabethton fan I think is comical to watch people and how they react in each and every situation. What those girls do may be the only enjoyment that some people get in there life. It would not have hurt my feelings for them to have lost a game down there some times a good beating makes you better than a win. Would rather see them loose now than when one loss ends your season like grainger did a couple of years ago. In my opinion this is the best schedule they have played in the 3 years my daughter has been there. Fans can not control the schedule. I think they would have had to been this kind of teem for about a decade to get invited to those elite tourney's. Does the TSSAA not regulate the number of games how does Blackman go to that many different tourney's. And you cannot compare AAA to AA to A that is why they set up the classifications anyway right.

And just to put this all on a level playing field who cares what unapproved website says it's an opinion of a business if the were not making money off the advertisement you would not have anything to read or compare.

Guys I have not made one post on here stating more than my own opinion. I think Elizabethton is a great team for the city and area they live in and Elizabethton High School will more than likely not see success like this again in my lifetime. Like the teams Pitts had at Science Hill. It is just runs in a great cycle once in a while in our area. We are not like the other big cities in TN. I told my daughter to enjoy this when it started in high school but do not let this be the greatest achievement or define her life. So relax with the stats and let bama42 enjoy this a little.

Dude what the heck is your problem. Are you like the ultimate crap stir. I was for the most part agreeing with you and stating true facts I agree with you that most Elizabethton fans get way to excited. People can not help it when it comes from the heart. Heck I have a kid on Elizabethton's team and I can look at things realistic. Heck even the Eliz twinkle reported the article wrong. I do not know if your a Happy Valley fan or what team but I support all the local teams. My kids all have friends at different schools and they have played against the same kids there whole life. Take a chill pill when someone was agreeing with you. Read something and think about it before you respond..

He is correct about one thing Hoover AL did not win the state championship last year went to Alabama version of TSSAA. Bishop England one of the teams they played last week did win the South Carolina AA state championship

Saw all three games and the best team they played there was the GA team in my opinion. The team from AL was really good. The top two teams they played this year.

Last year at the state tourney in the first triple a game for Oakland or Blackman they came out really cold and did not score for over six minutes that would have been the one out of four times that Betsy might have beat them. It would take some circumstances for Eliz. to win.

Guys during summer camp at MTSU they played Oakland and Blackman. They lost to both teams. I have both games on video. They lost to Oakland by 10 I think. I know for sure they lost to Blackman by 6. Blackman was lacking two of there starters. I am a giant Elizabethton supporter and then some. I have a daughter on the team. Elizabethton is very good and could play with Blackman but i truly believe they could not beat them in a real game because they did not in the summer. Your comparing apples and oranges. And Bama the teams that beat Blackman were as good as they get in the country. What Elizabethton has done the past two and a half years is truly special and our little city want see it again in our lifetime more than likely. There is no reason to argue something we will never be able to prove anyway. TSSAA spits the schools for a reason to give every school a level playing ground and a competitive season
