  1. Happened to be in town and caught this game. I have to admit I was shocked at the lead that Northside was able to open up. Didn't seem like TCA ever got into a rhythm. Several times they just came down and shot a three ball after one pass. Didn't see a lot of movement on offense either. Was impressed with their effort at the end of the game to make it a respectable score. I think if they had played with that same intensity for the whole game, it may have gone their way. Fuller definitely reminds me of Barkley. Enjoyed his game. Hate to single out a player negatively but number 21 for TCA seemed to be more interested in making a statement to Northside's bench and fans than in winning the game. Good luck for the rest of the season to both teams!
  2. GCPioneer, I think you are right!
  3. Adamsville will be lucky to be within ten after the first quarter. I have seen both play. May be close for a half if the threes are falling for the Cards, but the athleticism on Middleton's team is unbelievable!
  4. I saw the Lexington v TCA game and the size differential was almost comical! Kudos to TCA for their effort. They really battled and never gave up. They will be fine in single A.
  5. What I have noticed is that officials pick up on which players parents are the most verbally assaulting to them and tend to make calls that go against said player. Not saying all of them do, but have definitely witnessed. For the most part this year, officiating that I have seen has been very good.
  6. 1. Middleton 2) Pickett County 3) South Greene 4) Gibson County 5) Houston County 6) Perry County 7) Oliver Springs 8) Harriman 9) Clarkrange 10) Jackson County I see Middleton taking home the Gold Ball barring an injury to one of the Big 3.
  7. That being said, their 4 players are outstanding! I think they make it to Murfreesboro (as long as they dont meet Middleton in substate), but winning it all may be a tough task without depth.
  8. Gibson County is a solid team, but their lack of depth scares me a little. If they get in the wrong gym with the wrong refs with that aggressive trapping defense and happen to get two players in foul trouble, they could drop a game they normally wouldnt. The played only 6 players last night and they only played six because the center picked up two quick fouls. They did not substitute one time in the entire second half.
  9. Interesting because most KY teams are just now playing their first games
  10. Wasn't Chynna Hayes playing for South Gibson just two weeks ago? How will she be able to play for Gibson County after Christmas?
  11. Union City will be good, but they only have one dominate player. Greenfield has a couple of super talented players; however, Gibson County has four, maybe five players capable of going off for 20. It will take an off night, road game and perfect game for the competition to beat them. I don't see it happening. Gibson County goes undefeated in district play and wins the district easily.
  12. Saw in The Sun that she signed with Union. She is good enough to sit out two years and still be the best player around. That girl is a straight up Baller!
  13. 1. Gibson County 2. Greenfield 3. Bradford 4. Union City 5. Peabody 6. Lake County 7. South Fulton 8. Halls 9. Humboldt GC is going undefeated in the district. I don't see a team finishing closer than 10 points to them and probably only get within 10 if GC has an off shooting night or gets 2 players in foul trouble.
  14. 1. Middleton 2. Riverside 3. Scotts Hill 4. Trinity 5. Adamsville 6. Madison 7. JC 1,2 and 3 are a lock. Four thru 7 could go either way. One or two bad games and 4-7 could flip upside down.
