I also want to say this. I know the QB very well and If My Lions lose We will lose to a very WELL MANNERED YOUNG MAN. So these Lions have NOT ONE THING to lose. I know there are some people that thinks SH doesn't have a prayer in this game. That may or may not be true. Time will Tell. If SH plays a mistake free game with out any BIG turnovers. I think this will be a very GOOD game. SO PROUD that we get this opportunity. IMO i had rather be in this situation than any other for several different reasons. Cannot wait until Friday, Everyone on the Hill is looking forward to watching this game!!! If we get beat We get to go to work on some different skills!!!!! If you can't be excited about the Task at hand something is wrong...What a game for such a young PROGRAM. THIS is EXCITING stuff!!!! #lookingforafirstdown....#relax and have fun....What a FUN WEEK of intensitty!!!

I believe #10 smith will be back in this game. I am predicting a close game with riverside winning. I just believe he will find a way to lead the panthers to a victory! JC has a very dangerous Qb as well . Should be a very good one!

Can't wait until Friday night! My lions have their hands full.I totally understand that. But what An amazing opportunity for these seniors. Could have a season ending loss to the #1 ranked team or leave a mark that everyone across the state would remember forever. These Lions have nothing to lose in this game. They have everything to gain. I expect their best effort either way. I promise you no one has to explain the intensity and impact of this game. Can they pull it off . Wouldn't bet on it or against it. These men are gamers and they have grown up a lot over the last month. They beat a really good 8-2 team and lost to two very good teams plus losing to a very good riverside team on rivalry night . Throw the season out the window now, if these lions can find a wrinkle and catch a few breaks , crazier things have happened . Either way , hope it's a well played game and everyone stays healthy. It won't be the end of the world if my lions lose to the cardinals. If our best isn't good enough then so be it . You tip your hats and move on , but we will go into Friday night believing in the team from the Hill... GO LIONS ! BELIEVE!!!

RF - thanks alot. I went back and read TSSAA rules as well...I understand now...makes sense. We will have a tough road but it is what it is. i an hearing the playoff picture looks like this. Region 5 1.) Waverly 2) Lewis County 3) Riverside 4) Scott's Hill Hearing: Lewis County gets the nod for second due to possible 3 way tie. barring an upset this friday at Riverside. LC would have Best overall recod. then hearing they jumb back to HEAD to HEAD for 3rd & 4TH place..Not overall recond. That would place Riverside in the 3RD place. Not sure I understand the jumping back to head to head instead of overall record. But this is what i am hearing from pretty reliable sources...Can anyone enlighten me? Region 6 1. Adamsville 2) TCA / JCS 3. 4) Mckenzie

SH has came unwound in every aspect of the game....Not Sure Why...but in any way...Maybe we can regroup and get a first down this week... Just hoping everyone stays healthy and Safe Travels to Everyone....JUST hope The Voice of the Lions gets to say "MOVE THOSE CHAINS" and for FOR MY OL BUDDY EDDIE BRANHAM to make a complete recovery!!

vandyfan: went back and watched the targeting call and it was clearly shoulder to shoulder contact. It was a brutal hit but nothing illegal. watched it in slow motion several times and amazed #5 held on to the ball. You guys are really athletic and best of luck in the future.. SH has some players but simply not that deep. By the way. the call wouldn't have made any difference. SH prides itself in playing the game right.

Adamsviile or Waverly will get a shot at Trezevant ....After seeing Waverly's D...being they are so Athletic on D...I would say they would have a legit shot at going to Cookville. Be interesting to see how it goes...BE one of the 3 from the west for sure....West TN will be represented well....Good luck to the all the teams and hope everyone stays healthy...Very proud of my Lions but simply not deep enough..

IMO of this game based on weather conditions. This will come down to a running game. Scott's Hill has a very good running game and so does Waverly . Going to go with THE LIONS in a slobber Knocker....24-20.....Turnovers will be key...

Hearing a different tone coming out of the Lions Den, A few of the players got caught up in "THE STAT" line and lost some focus. They have made some adjustments in alignments...Waverly may win this game...But they will know they have been in a battle. SH will be a lot different team from here on out. Passing Teams WILL PAY a BIG PRICE. They will be locked down on defense from here on out...If Offense finds their Rythem back..Look for the Lions to make a serious run in the playoffs...My personal Opinion is if teams beat us here on out it will have to be on the outside. We shall see. Coming in to season I said we would struggle against Passing Teams because we are young....That has changed and Don't believe They will struggle on Pass D any Further...Sometimes a good ol butt whooping is the best thing could happen to a team. Especially a young one...BUILDS Character....Seen in happen in the Spring last year...KEEP AN EYE ON THE LIONS...They are about to ROAR!!! Going to BE FUN TO WATCH....I said at the start of year that (3) teams would give us a fit. WC,Riverside and Waverly....Been Right So far....I think we match up against Waverly pretty well after watching film...may be wrong...but look for the Lions to start a RUN Friday night..They will be READY IMO....I look for #4 , #5, #6 & #14 to have HUGE NIGHTS here on out!!

Hearing they have made some adjustments, Sometimes a loss will open up some eyes and cause a new focus...I look for them to make a serious run in coming weeks ! Waverly may win this game but they will know they been on the field . I really believe these boys grew up 2 weeks ago. Expecting the pads to be popping Friday night! The ones I have been hearing from have a different tone in their voice...for a couple weeks it was about stats....not any more....they are hungry and I really don't think west tn is expecting what's on the RISE...said it all along this is a very good football team that has to go through some struggles and grow up..same thing happened in May last spring!!! NEW FOCUS and ViSON...super proud to be a LION...win the one that counts..most important!..I predicted 7-3 this year...may be right...maybe not...prediction ...deep run into playoffs....time will tell....teams won't do what riverside did to us , they exposed a weakness and flat out beat us. Them good ol butt whoopings is how you learn in life...lol #agonyofdefeat

This will be a very Good Game. SH lost a very emotional game against their Rival. Up 21-0 and RS did make some adjustments and SH didnn't. Offense lost its Sync and it started Snowballing from there. A Couple Breaks went Riversides way and a Few timely penaltys and it just got out of hand. Hats off to the Panthers, A loss isn't always the worse thing that can happen to a team.They got Outplayed bottom line..Will they regroup...Time will tell.. As far as this week...Be another Challenge for my Lions. I think it will be Close. SH will need to get the Offense going and make some KEY alignments with certain Personal on defense. Defensive Schemes WILL play a BIG Role IMO...I said after the first week of season after watching scrimmages and jamboree that there would be (3) teams that would give us a fit...I was RIGHT about 2 so far and the third is this week. Lions WILL have TO PLAY for 4 quarters...I look for some BIG plays from some playmakers to be the Difference in this one!! Playoffs: IMO Region 5 will make some Noise this year against a very good Region 6. Don't Believe All the teams will get beat in the first round this year...Just my opinion.... .

Rivalry Week: ALWAYS a VERY physical Game...I LOOK for the LIONS to play Really Physical this week...The Lions Strength on Defense is the Run Game. I don't feel like the Panthers will be able to run the ball on the Lions, But i do think they will pass some against our secondary but in certain Down and Distances I think SH will make personal adjustments that will Make The Lions LOCK Down on pass Coverages this week as well. SH may Break some on defense but I really don't think RS will have enough offense to compete with the Potent Offense of the Lions. Just to Balanced. IF the LIONS protect the Ball I really Believe they can Compete With Anyone in 2A football. Just hope everyone Stays Healthy.

i know that Waverly is a really good team , So is Lewis County. Not sure how strong the Tigers Run Defense is. LC can be a very dangerous team. They have GOOD size and have some Athletes...Anyone that plays LC will be in a game IMO because of their Size and BACKS...Won't be an easy win...But I say Tigers pull out a REALLY CLOSE one...Would not be surprised with an Upset...SH beat LC but it was due to SH's Strengths matching up well, IMO....LC much improved from last year.

Not saying the Lions are ready to win the title, all I am saying is the lions will make some noise. It's obvious who is the favorite .. But I truly believe we got a serious shot of making a Good run in the playoffs . Our offense is strong and the defense has progressed . Due to adding some athletes and getting some back from injury. Lots of football left...my opinion is the Lions are a team to be reckoned with....very balanced and improved ..IMO....region 5AA is a lot stronger than last year IMO as well.

Look for the Scotts Hill Lions in the final poll. Boys started season young on defense but have come together. The Hill will make lots of noise before this is all said and done!

Wanted to comment on Lewis county after watching the game this Friday night...they have improved a whole lot in my opinion.No one better take them lightly...this team is bigger and quicker than I thought they would be.. They also bring a huge crowd...good luck to LC in the future!
