If they just said here are the classes. All sports... Here are the classes. I would be very happy. I would love 4 classes for all sports and the same regions for all sports. Just do region tournament and take the top 8 teams for basketball. Would that work?

this is a clear violation of T$$AA rules. All assistant coaches must be sitting on the bench.

If they change the number of classifications again. I would like to see the same districts/regions for all sports. I know some schools may not have a wrestling team or volleyball team or whatever... So if a school doesn't have a team in that sport the district/region has fewer teams in that sport. pretty simple. If they don't make it the same for all sports just leave it alone.

What are saying with this post? I am having a hard time understanding where you are going with this... Are you saying he needs to fired after 2 years or are you saying he needs to leave and go somewhere else where he has a better chance of success? I need some clarity on what you are saying here.

It is chester and South Side. They will win this district and be the runner up. I actually think chester wins it. then they have to deal with Creek Wood who I hear is the best team in the other district.

I haven't seen this in a game this year but have seen it in the past. The remedy is for the home and visitor scorebooks to be sitting side by side instead of the home book at one end of the table the the visitor book at the other.

I have not seen Gleason but looking at their schedule and results... Union City beat them by 38 one game and 31 the other.

This region is wide open. Haywood, Bolivar, Fayette Ware, Dyer County, Dyersburg, South Gibson... Wow

I watched the games last night. i had to see what the hype was with South Gibson Middle. they play extremely hard but I gotta say, I was not impressed by what i saw in this one game. They are probably much better than what they played last night. they had a guard that was very good. The twins have length and are athletic but didn't display a lot of skill and didn't shoot the 3 very good. After saying all that, the ceiling for that group is super high!!! they have all the pieces. I was actually impressed with the boys. I don't know how many 8th graders they have but they have a stud athlete who has a chance to be really good and looks like he is ready for high school right now. they have length, and a point guard that can really see the floor. The high school team played a lot of sophomores the 3 times I have seen them this year and adding some of these kids to those sophomores i see South Gibson being very good the next few years. My assessment of the only middle school game I have seen (or will see) this season.

Region 6 3A - Chester, South Side and Creek wood will all compete - I have south Winning it and Creek Wood second - Not sure Chester has improved any at all from last year Region 7 3A - Probably the toughest region in 3A Fayette Ware, Bolivar, Haywood, Dyer County, Dyersburg, South Gibson... WOW... I may change this prediction later: Dyersburg wins it and Bolivar finishes second - Fayette Ware and dyer county could win it and finish second and south Gibson took Dyer County to 3 OT's... This is a tough region Region 8 3A - It is Munford, Egypt and Ridgeway... I have Ridgeway winning it and Munford second

Region 6 2A - I have Hickman county winning it and Camden second Region 7 2A - Pretty competitive - any of these 4 can win it. but... I have Westview winning it... Ripley, JCM, Scotts Hill, all compete Region 8 2A - Douglas wins it and Memphis Business 2nd

Region 7 1A - Union City wins it. Humboldt, and Middleton next Region 8 1A - Middle College and MASE- thats it Region 6 1A - Houston County wins it and McKenzie second

I have not been to a middle school game in a long time. I just saw where the Blue Suede Championship is tonight in Medina. I may go. should I?

South Gibson went to state semi last year. probably would have gone back again this year if not for injuries. I haven't seen their Middle School. How many seniors do they have this season?

Maliki Brooks from Union City is the best player I have seen all year from any classification. He has to be a candidate.

Teams have kids out all the time. I'm pretty sure that was one of those games where they were missing 2 or 3 starters. That is why you can't look at a teams scores and know who that team is. there have been tons of games in West TN that I went to expecting a good match up and it was a blow out because one of the teams didn't have their roster.

I will just say this and be finished with this thread. It is the AD at fault not the coach. Ridiculous to get on here and slam the coach for not providing a roster to the radio. It is the AD not the coach. come on man

100% They have played a gauntlet of a schedule too. Brooks is the best scorer in West TN and one of the top in the state in any classification. I have seen him 4 times and man... that kid can score. Plus they have some size and a couple other kids that can shoot it.

What is the minimum capacity of the gym for region tournaments?
