Everyone thought LC and Humboldt would be close but LC came out cold and never was in the game. It is just more proof that on any given night anyone can be beat. Good Luck TCA and UC.

It is going to be tough on the other teams to come into the Thunder Dome and beat UC. But I am smart enough to know it can happen if UC don't come to play. It should be two good games. Good luck to all.

It is my understanding that if all 14A teams win tonight, the rest of the region will be played in UC. Is that right?

I could be wrong but I will take LC, Halls, Humboldt, UC Tuesday night. I think we have 4 good teams in our district, good luck to all four teams.

jgbell01 mr. basketball and district mvp had 9pts. and 3 rebounds tonight. the stockdale kid had 17 points and 14 rebounds. he was playing with a bad knee pretty good for a so called d3 player. but it is what it is. he does his talking on the floor.LOL

cope these guys don't have any idea whos a good player and whos not. I was not saying he was a better player than simpson or dewberry. but if you think he cant play in d1 or d2 then you must not like the kid. As far as Mr. Basketball is concerned if you don't know by now that's all political then you don't know anything. you know yourself if you play ball you play where the coach tells you or you don't play end of story

you are right. He didn't do anything but lead the team in scoring 3pt.shooting percentage 2pt. shooting percentage most rebounds last year. dewberry and simpson are great players but new kid has no defence.

That's just where the coach plays him. hes a good kid and player but you have to play where the coach wants you. He's the best rebounder they have, that's another reason he's down low. I think he should have been playing guard also.

No I am not his father. but you must have watched the game with your eyes closed. there is nobody in 14A that can guard him down low and he can bust you outside.

87vickingalumni Humboldt had better be ready. If UC comes out firing on all cyl. it will be over very quickly. As TCA was saying Stockdale is a beast on the boards, and I don't think Humboldt has anyone to stop him down low. But I will say Humboldt is young and everyone better look out for them next year. all I can is there is a big difference between UC and LC Humboldt better practice a lot. bigred2000 saying I don't know anything about refs. he said he talked to coaches and they said the refs. are ok. the reason they say that is because of the fine they get for saying anything bad about the refs.

mrbigster I am not from Humboldt. I don't think you would have to be from anywhere to see how bad that young ref. was. UC will have to be on their game or Humboldt might get them. with the two outside shooters and Stockdale and Simpson inside Humboldt will have their hands full.

looks like the ice and snow has the best defence, It will keep everyohe off the floor unless something happens. looks like Humboldt will have to wait to get their turn to try to take down UC.

Bigred2000 I was also at the game and if that young ref. is in top 7 I would would hate to see the rest. He was really aweful. Tca I saw the same things you did.

I was at the game last night UC has to do better on defence. The Refs. did a pretty good job I thought. I think they missed Sisco on defence. Hopeful they will get back on their game now after being off 10 days. good luck UC.

cope I think you are right aau has missed up high school baskrtball. And just to let you other people know cope is not relaeted to Stockdale in any way. And everyone in UC and Obion CO. knows whos carried that team for the last three years. Radio station in Poplar Bluff statwd during their tournament 41 was not the one on UC team you had to worry about you had better watch out for 31. congrats to Deberry.

Let me start by saying I am proud of all the boys nominated for Mr. baskrtball. but we all know who,s carrying the biggest load on that UC team.

don't jump on copenoc and tcaintense so hard. also be careful what you say about how bad Mitchel is you might find out how good UC really is.

stewart is a shooter but if you think back to poplar bluff he took 4 awful shots and didn't make one of them refrees didn't do very good either he will be a good player in the next 2 years but like you said before shooters are a dime a dozen. you are right about stockdale they will probably double team him. but when the pressure is on that's when stockdale is at his best.

you are right but if UC plays like they should they should win easily there is a lot of basketball left good luck to all the teams

I don't think Humbolt can beat Uc as far as Stewart I don't think Uc needed him in the first place
