i am for one tired of the drama that is Marshall and Giles. Don't care about Wallace or either coach. Yall needs to start a new thread that is who will win the soap opera debate and let the rest of this region talk about football.

I've seen Marshall. Giles. Spring hill. In 7v7. Hard to say what anybody is going to be like going by that. I will say the spring hill qb is going to be best athlete on field in this region. He has some good looking targets as well. Marshall will be next in line they are flat out solid at skill positions. Giles is down that's pretty obvious. havent seen Lchs yet. Hard to believe they can match athletes with Marshall or spring hill. Any info on rest of region.

On the contrary, actually hold a doc degree. Do you? So you are saying football is not education? Does all education come from books? Football teaches life lessons. How many kids would dropout if not for football? How many math, English, science teachers can honestly say "I made a difference today". How many will say it every day. Better yet how many kids will say they did.

This Ron m. Obviously is not a football coach. I'd be curious to no if he would like to make more money at his current job. Wonder if he would like to have a bonus for a job well done. Wonder if he could get a 100,000 bonus for his current job would he give 97,000 back to education of our youth. Education has income from local, state, and federal sources. If a coach can get paid well more power to them don't say or use the education thing they have there hands in plenty of pockets. Also coaches do more then "coach" if u have ever been one u no that.

Symrna vs columbia. In region 4. No riverdale. Dang. Heard kid from columbia hit a bomb to put them in. Symrna put it on lc early then held on.

Lawrence co wins district tournament. . Lost first game to Columbia. Won 2nd game. Congrats to lc on district championship.

Lawrence county advanced to regions last night with a win over columbia. Nether team played lights out but in the end good pitching and timely hitting put lc in championship game. If I remeber correctly when I arrived there was 10 combined errors on board by both teams. T town was eliminated by franklin county in 2nd game. So puts frankline county vs columbia tonight.

T town finished season strong. Good to see. Now whole new season begins. Can they get to the region again? Only time will tell. On side note lawrence county seems to be playing good baseball too can the win the district tourny or will columbia take it home. Don't forget frankline county could be an upset waiting to happen.

Not a hole lot of discussion on 8aaa this yr. probable because it's so weak. Haven't seen anybody really talented. Think lawrence county may have best pitcher. But nothing like the past years.

I don't understand this discussion. We are talking about kids standing on line waiting to go to dug out. Every team I've seen play in high school baseball are right back to dug out as soon as they can. Until this thread I've never heard of such. Yes if they are doing It, guess it's dirspectfull but it's more stupid and shows immaturity level of kids.

T town. Problem looks like pitching. Although they didn't wear the ball out either. But u can't walk batters make an error and then give up single. Still I wonder how rest of region looks.

Ok tullahoma and Columbia have owned this region for past several years. Is there going to be a new top dog? OR is it going to be same ol same ol. My predicted finish is Columbia Tullahoma Franklins co Lincoln co Shelby Lchs Coffee co Lchs lost a lot something like 8 seniors Coffee new coach Shelby has become a football school Lincoln has a chance if pitching holds out so does franklins lots of young talent there.
