  1. Congrats Oakland on an impressive played game. Good luck next week in cookeville! Good hard fought game Rebels and to the Seniors you will be missed!
  2. GQ is. Don't see where you get the Rebels by 3 TDs when the got beat by nearly 2 TDs. Believe your the one that keeps living in the past bringing up how past teams compare to this years Oakland or how the would match up. This years Rebel team had injurys early. Over the last month or so they have been playing great football and so has Oakland. Should be an exciting game. If it gets ugly it gets ugly!
  3. keep predicting they way you do and eventually you will get one right! Imo this team is as good as last years team minus Brock. More weapons on this years team just young. Last years team was good enough to beat Oakland by 2 touchdowns or close to it? Players may change from year to year but GQ is still the coach.
  4. It was a made up call by line judge after getting an ear full from blaze coach's. Butt hurt when you changed your original post half a day later.
  5. Not knowing how to post a video from hudl on here I can assure you the whistle blows after player is on the ground. Being at the game, the ref throws flag 20 yds from play at the blaze sideline. Few plays earlier the blaze sideline in turmoil over QB getting hit. You where there and saw how your sideline reacted to the no call and should have saw where the flag came from on the hit your talking about! Again the hit was not needed but if your playing to the whistle it was legal. A 160 pound player 5'8 putting a hit on a 6'3 190 plus legally has got you surprised and judgemental. Just calling you out.
  6. watched film and the hit referred to perfectly legal. Whistle blows after the player is down and Blaze sideline going bonkers. Furthermore you added to your original post which showed your spirit for your team but then u added a butt hurt statement towards the opposing team. As stated Murvil not perfect but they (I believe all teams) strive to be! Hit was not necessary but it was legal and as a parent of former player, I can assure you that it will be addressed by the Murvil coaching staff!
  7. Congrats Rebels well played. Keep it going. GQ and staff has so many options it's sometimes not fair. I love it. imo it's because he gives the younger players opportunities to show what their made of and last night was the perfect example. Master Teague is fun to watch and like the name.
  8. can remember one year parsley playing to a 0 to 0 game through 4qtrs and lil Rebs winning in overtime. Believe you were out of town on business but that was an exciting game. That game is one reason I still go to little games with no skin in them. Appreciate all the little league football coaches in Blount county but partial to the raiders for obvious reasons.
  9. "0ne loss" neers? Will not let you or g91 forget!😀😀
  10. Two good programs, beautiful night for football, hope both play injury free. Get em REBS! How was ridgewood rdub been of years since I've been there? SX did I miss this weeks chant?
  11. Congrats on 28yrs of experience of doing what you do RCKOF! Is there an early retirement benefit?😉
  12. you Barn, coupons can be rough on the stomache! Smiley face.
  13. Maryville was not always ranked at the top and it came to back to bite some of those pollster's in the arse! Proud of MHS, Coaches, and Players, lot of pressure on those players to keep it going and they have been successful thus far.
  14. Glad to see D-B QB back and playing well! Hope we get a few more Rebels back again this week from injury. Good to see #2 and #41 play last week and get reps before this game.
  15. been there several times. The food is good but the wait and parking arrangements not so good.
  16. Good ownership usually makes for good expierence as far as fast food. Pals has that.
  17. "Purty" good win Rebels. "YOUNGins" looked good. For a freshman, Bulldogs QB played well. Believe he changed the game on us late in the first too baseball. #88 might have had something to do with it.
  18. a few no calls or bad calls will make the game seem closer than it actually was. Definitely hoping both teams stay injury free. Hopefully neers have a better showing against the f5 than the other county team.
  19. most likely Alcoa would be up 14 to 21 pts and a questionable play usually goes in the team that's losing favor.
  20. #30 transferring only opened the door for another player to get more reps. If it's within the rules, see no problem with it at all (freedom). I don't know, but would say his stats this year compared to last are way down. From watching him in the Maryville game compared to Heritage vs Maryville the year before he became more of a team player as a tornado. #22 for the neers is a bigger bruising back and fits the neers game plan. From what I've seen of him this year he's doing well. Agree with the "squeaky wheel" if QB did not get hurt I could see of 2 losses that could have been wins (region) for the neers. If Kellogg is unable to play or if he and Myers have an off nite it will be a good game. 2 out 3 passing tds from Myers to Kellogg against maryville would have been called back if they were playing against heritage. The underdog most always gets the biscuit. Myers and Kellogg are outstanding athletes, and those were three beautiful plays. Don't beat me up too bad goons.
