MARSHALL coming off of a bye week and hopefully getting some petty injuries healed and NOLENSVILLE coming off of a big loss to the 4-4A Champion Tullahoma Wildcats, this game has a LOT of implications!!!! The winner gets a home game to start the playoffs and the loser has to travel. Who ya got and why???

Pearl by 40!!! No disrespect whatsoever to Giles. They are out BIGGEST RIVAL and we played two tough games with them, but they are NOT the Giles of old!!! Pearl seems to have the mindset to appease the voters for ranking them higher, and they should. ...and they SHOULD be ranked higher!!! Pearl is an ELITE team year in and year out. They seemed to have gotten behind the eight ball because of COVID-19 and fell in the ranks (no fault of theirs), and now they are and have been PROVING why they should be at or near the TOP of 3A (maybe 2nd behind Alcoa???).

Our Boys in Blue should have a running clock by late first qtr early second??? The Raiders have had some up and down years the last 5,6 or 7 years, but they seem to be REALLY down this year. BUT, on the flip side, they always play us pretty tough.

I very much agree!!! I bleed blue through and through and have missed two games in TEN years, so I guess that makes me a “homer”!!! MC has played HOT, LIGHTS OUT, since the loss to Tullahoma! Tullahoma is an ELITE team this year, and we may NOT be able to beat them if, IF we meet again in the QTR’s, but I FIRMLY BELIEVE it will be a MUCH BETTER GAME!!!

With this being the first time they have ever played twice in the “regular season” (to my knowledge anyway), who gets the win? Marshall got the BIG win a few weeks ago at HOME. Now Giles is at HOME!!! Who “needs” this win the most to help validate their season to wrap up the last stretch before playoffs start???

I agree. I thought we looked pretty good at Sewanee against Ooltewah. They are normally an East TN powerhouse. But, again, I think we have some things to work on!

Where is it? Is it at the high school? I googled the address but didn’t see a stadium on the google map. I did see the practice field.

Well, for a start... I’m not sure what LaVergne has returning, but we COMPLETELY DOMINATED them!!! Yes, it was a “spring scrimmage “, but it was UGLY!!! MC did pretty much what they wanted and PRESSURED LaVernge’s offense (run or pass) the entire scrimmage!!! The final was 42-14, with LaVergne scoring ONLY on our third string (twice)!!!

Hey there tarnishedbear... us MARSHALL COUNTY fans were sure rooting for your “elite” team, the you made them sound anyway... I guess it’s “tough luck” for them “Golden bears” right???
