Not sure why cancer would be a career deterrent. People everyday deal with the disease and carry on with their lives. Why this would be different is beyond me. Teachers/coaches work with other ailments that often go unseen or unknown by the public. This should be no different.

Assinine. It is not right that public schools cannot interact with their "feeder" programs in their own zone, but private schools can have guided tours of their schools at anytime and welcome the public...............free of charge. Private schools also bring in public school kids from other zones or areas and "test' them to make sure they can be accepted, but public schools cannot & have to watch their Ps & Qs. Correct me if I am wrong. Everyone who watched Peabody's video knows everyone of those kids will go to Peabody and attend school, whether they play ball or not. I do not see recruiting involved. I see Peabody welcoming those kids and parents, which is a great thing.

Malcolm Perry from Kenwood went the USNA Prep School route and it has obviously helped him. Not sure if any negativity was gained thru his experience.

Not sure why some think Spring Hill can be good consistently. Since 2001 (17 seasons), they are 55-125 with only 2 winning seasons in that span. 2 seasons with 0 wins, 3 seasons with only 1 win and 2 seasons with only 2 wins. Huge hill to climb.

Go back and look at the county pay scales again Johnny. As years of experience grows, so does the average for WilCo..............more than RuCO.

I don't think the pay is better in RuCo as opposed to WilCo. Not sure where you got your info.
