1. Bradley or East Hamilton (EH did not graduate a single starter) Hayes has a chance to be a McDonald's All American 3. Cleveland will have a tough time replacing Dasher. 4. Losing Hennessey and Burns will keep them from finishing higher than 4th. 5th-7th is a toss up.

5AAA is the home of the defending AAA State Champions as well as the returning Miss Basketball winner Madison Hayes. IMHO it is a two team race with Cleveland a distant 3rd. It should be a great year for 5AAA.

What are teams looking like this summer?

Walker Valley will take time and will finish 5th in the regular season. McMinn 4th. East Hamilton will win the District. Bradley and Cleveland will battle for 2nd.

Drew Lyness from Soddy Daisy to Walker Valley. Interesting hire. Hard to tell what kind of coach he is coming from Soddy.

Interesting thing is that Blair was a Cleveland Middle kid. I'm glad she went to Bradley or we would be talking about Cleveland right now as Bradley is very average without her.

The problem with Cumberland is they always fall apart at the end of the season. I personally believe it is from fatigue because they never take any time off. When they are not playing for CCHS, they are playing together as the Tennessee Stars. They get ridden into the ground every year and usually peak in December.

White County has lost 6 of 7. Something is just not right in Sparta.

I could see either district going 3-1 with a 3 seed possibly winning the road game. Neither 1 seed is losing.

There is no way that Whitson is anywhere near the player of the 3 finalists.

I think McMinn, East Hamilton, and Cleveland are pretty evenly matched. Im looking forward to seeing this all play out on the court. Not sure what happened at McMinn tonight.

2 vs 3/6,7 1 vs 4/5 There is no way possible for Bradley to play McMinn in the finals. They will play in the semis which based on the regular season matchups it has been the toughest test for the Bearettes.

The seedings have pretty much been set for two weeks now. 1 Bradley 2 Cleveland 3 East Hamilton 4 McMinn All four are really solid teams with Bradley being better than the rest.

Well if McMinn is playing in the district title game that means they beat Bradley in the semis. Do you even know what you are talking about?

If the Region Tournament started today the first round games would be as follows: Rhea @ Bradley White @ Cleveland McMinn @ Stone East Hamilton @ Cookeville Those would be some really good basketball games. A lot to be decided in the tournaments. Good luck to all the teams and fans.

I think the region tournament is going to be incredible this year.

Cleveland (Should be strong with alot of returners from last season) 4. McMinn (Has a strong group coming back led by Hennessey) 5. Walker Valley (Will be led by Sr PG Abby Davis) 6. Ooltewah (The addition of Kaiyanna Suttles will definitely improve this team) 7. Soddy Daisy (Has a tough road ahead replacing the graduating class from last season) This region should also be exciting this season as it could be as competitive with potentially 6-8 teams vying for the substate births.

TSSAA needs the sectional game $. They will never get rid of that.

Let's examine what has happened to District 5AAA. Walker Valley, Bradley, and Cleveland have essentially three middle schools that feed all three high schools. For the past few years, Bradley has been getting the best players from all three schools while the other two get what's left. Couple that with the transfers of Howard (East Hamilton) and Carter (Clarksville) and it's easy to see why they are so dominant. One thing is for sure, if kids who transfer continue to push tradition filled Bradley kids to the sideline, their dominance will soon fade.

Their bad night shooting might have been a result of SC's defensive speed. As stated earlier the game wouldn't even have been close without the complete travesty of officiating.

How can you come on a message board and publicly claim that a team that has lost to another team 4 times is better than them?
