  1. Beating Cleveland is not a good win. They are not disciplined and have played a pretty weak schedule with the only quality win coming against Farragut.
  2. It is Bradley so I'm pretty sure they found a way.
  3. Gary gets pretty salty about his Bearettes.
  4. How many coaches have made the substate and won 27 games and lost their job? Maybe one day the real reason will come out.
  5. 84-42. My math was off. That's still pretty good.
  6. Cleveland had a record of 84 and 32 the last 4 seasons according to this site. That's a winning percentage of 72%. I have seen a post on social media where Cleveland has had 22 players over the last 7 years play college basketball. Didn't Cleveland only win 2 games before Williams got there? Only time will tell if this is an upgrade.
  7. Bradley was winning this game easily until fouls caught up to them. Bradley from a talent perspective was far superior, but a county all star team is gonna have more talent. As long as Bradley keeps getting one or two of the best kids from CMS and Ocoee they will continue to dominate.
  8. That game was simply not very good basketball played by two mediocre teams. Not taking anything away from either team. They both did what they needed to do to get there. Bartlett will win by 20 plus and every team on the bottom of the bracket is 20 points better than them as well.
  9. Mind blown at how bad Greenhill and Clarksville are to be at state. What's worse is that one of them is gonna be a final four team.
  10. Cleveland is Jekyll and Hyde. Their good is really good and their bad will not be capable of keeping it close. It will depend on which team travels to Blackman.

    R4AAA

Both of your teams are guaranteed to win in substate if they can find the gym. Region 3AAA is probably the worst basketball in the state. I will take the road team by 25 and the home team by 35 right now. Any takers?
  12. Using the records on this site and unapproved website Coffee County is: 11-2 vs 4A Schools (of these 13 games 8 were against Franklin County, Shelbyville, McMinn County, and Riverdale) Quality wins over Blackman and twice over Warren County. 5-0 vs 3A Schools (Quality wins over Murfreesboro Central, Lincoln County, and Tullahoma) 4-0 vs 2A Schools (Quality win over York) 3-0 vs 1A Schools The rest of their schedule was not very strong. Cleveland is: 16-6 vs 4A Schools (Bearden X 2, Bradley X 3, Oak Ridge X 2, Morristown West X 1) The rest of their 4A games were against weaker teams like Walker Valley, McMinn, Ooltewah, and Howard. 3-1 vs 3A Schools (Greeneville and Lawrence County were both solid teams) 1-0 vs 2A Schools (Lone win was against Fayette Ware who is still playing) 7-0 vs Private Large/Independent (Baylor, Knox Webb, Knox Catholic-still playing, and Hamilton Heights) Out of state teams Vashon-21-5 and still playing in Missouri 4A Bob Jones-27-4 and lost to Hoover in Alabama 7A quarters Thomas Dale-22-1 and still playing in Virginia 6A None of this matters because it is all about who shows up tonight.
  13. All the favorites won tonight and won handily. Semi-Predictions Bradley-54 Warren-34 Cleveland-62 Coffee Co-57 Should be a great atmosphere Monday night at Bradley.
  14. Bradley by 45 (75-30) Cleveland by 20 (62-42) Warren County by 14 (52-38) Coffee County by 28 (68-40)
  15. One is actually a sanctioned event by TSSAA. The other is basically an anyone that wants to go play type of tournament. James C Hale is mostly middle TN schools. The TMSSAA state is the entire state and is elimination/survive and advance.
  16. McMinn Central is probably the only place that has as big of a home court advantage as Bradley.
  17. So Coffee doesn't play good teams because they are too poor?
  18. It's not to that level. Just want a logical response on their strength of schedule as a top AAAA team in the state and no response has been given.
  19. Dude you aren't talking about Howard. Coffee County is talented. Just admit they should have ramped up their schedule to be battle tested at tournament time.
  20. I want you to know that I'm not against Coffee County. Just looking at a couple 4A schools with their same ambition. Oak Ridge and Cleveland. They have played really hard non district schedules. Coffee's approach may pay off and theirs may fail. I'm a Walker Valley guy and your schedule looks more like ours.
  21. Still not answered the question. There are some really good basketball teams within 1.5 hours of Coffee, yet none of them are on your schedule. Webb Bell Buckle is right down the road. You would lose to them but it would make you better.
  22. That is not answering my question. They probably spent more in travel going to New Hampshire than most schools so save the woah as me we got no $ speech. I simply asked who they have played out of 23 games besides Blackman and AA York?
  23. Strength of schedule on here only accounts for the record of your opponents. It also doesn't take into account any out of state competition. No doubt Coffee plays Blackman twice and York. Who else is really good besides Warren?
