No offense to Collinwood, and with all due respect to the second year coach who is obviously changing the culture, if WC plays their game, it's not even close. Two different levels. Preston Rice, best player in Region, and arguably 1A.

Staying public, but with the multiplier, moving to 2A.

P Rice has big shoes for any one to fill. Good for Risner to have a role model and a good kid to follow and learn that WC system. We have a pretty dang good sophomore QB here at CA. Still makes mistakes, but he's one heck of a competitor. I think h will have a really good Jr/Senior season.

With all due respect to the back up, starting at any other school in the region, I'm gonna have to disagree. Just my opinion.

CA lost 2 of their best players early on this season. I wouldn't say one is better than the other. Both are crucial to both sides of the ball. The injuries have piled up all season and they have had freshman on the field all year. I do think they have a pretty good chance to win out.

Had a chance to see both teams this year. Both great teams. P Rice is the difference maker. Kids a competitor. Like Roethlisberger back there. Receivers don't stop on busted plays. Should be a good one.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't NCS offer a so called "work study program"? 🎣🎣

Watched Huntingdon tonight. A lot of athletes. Good team. That being said, they beat a CA team full of Sophomores and Freshmen that's down due to numerous injuries, that didn't have a lot of depth anyway. Gonna need to play better to beat Preston Rice and that crew. Seen both teams this year. Could turn out to be a long night for the Mustangs next week. Both good teams though.

Thanks for clarifying. I know it's not any fun in a less competitive region, but as I mentioned, it's no fun on the other side either.

Listen, my son graduated from CA a few years ago. I have nothing but the upmost respect for your team, and they have a strong program. My comment reflected my opinion that maybe HHS should've remained 2A. There's always complaining about the competition in this region. I can gaurantee you it's a lot less fun being on the other side of the 50 point blowouts. Did HHS have the option to stay 2A, or was I told wrong?
