It can be done but the question is will springfield have enough time.I can imagine a swarm of yellow jackets with miniature axes chopping away for a couple of hours and wonder why this big green tree hasn't fallen like the last few trees. Yep,but more of a small town.the other schools are outside of city limits and believe me,there are a lot,{ not all } of folks in Greene county that don't like the Devils and would rather see the Devils get drilled this week.I'm probably one of the reasons a lot of girls from the seventies and eighties still hate Greeneville.Ha. I was more cocky then if there was a DevilMan007 on these boards.

Greeneville is the city school in the county,then you have.North Greene,South Greene,West Greene,and take a good guess on the 5th one.

I'll say this about betting and what team will do what.Nothing is 100%.If someone would have said a couple of weeks ago to any of you, I'll bet whatever you have including your life against my "one billion dollars"They then say they will bet AC scores over 30 in the first half against the Devils but will not score again in the 2nd half is what they are betting will happen.A bunch of you would never know the outcome of this week's game.Funny thing is none of us right now know what the outcome will be and as I said ,neither team is guaranteed a victory.

Wow, I think the pressure is breaking you down 03.I think this is an honest and somewhat humble prediction for you.Not over the top or insulting to a fine opponent.I would take a one point win but a 42-21 type game would be nice in a Devil win.That would take a strong Devil game without mistakes.

I watched those young men that were seniors from peewee on up.You didn't see anything compared to what they could have had.Five of their top 7 from the 9th grade gave it up or moved.One of those got a ride to D1 and was 6'5" 300 plus as a 9th grader.Another one of them was the strongest player on DB's team when spring came around as a 9th grader.They should have been even bigger on offense and a monster defensive line to go with it.When I say a staff like Greeneville there and a weight program,I know what they could have had.It's all good now because everyone seen they were still loaded with talent but just can't figure out what in the hail is the problem every year at Dobyns Bennett.Atleast they have a great band director and just finished 6th in the whole country.Anyway,the Devils are playing and that's all I care about this week.

If Dobyns had the Greeneville staff and weight program they would have been twice as good with a lot more stud players .Who knows how far they could have gone this year.The coaching staff we have at Greeneville is why the Devils are still playing and other teams around NET are already in basketball shape

Well it's like the Tennessee colors if your a Vol fan.Any combination of colors is nice.I know the Devils have done several little changes over the years.My preference would probably be darker Green or even nearly black but if they are winning ,I don't really care.Now some things I would change and go against nearly all other Greeneville folks that love our school.I would let the band do our school song and cut the Mic on former classmates singing.Just my preference there.I think enough of us know our national anthem to sing along without the sound system there also.As long as we are standing and showing respect to our flag and those that gave their lives for our country and not acting like a bunch of NFL beches.

As it has been said,adjustments will be huge in this game.I would bet the farm on atleast a couple of plays Springfield will try against Greeneville and one is a slant right behind our middle linebacker.I would say AC got a hundred plus yards on that.Going deep at any spot we might not have a lot of height will also be something they will try.Without knowing their wideouts,I say they try and keep Seth away from helping that side and burn us long.AC could have got 150 more yards and maybe 3 or 4 more scores had it not been for Seth going with their number 1 guy.So it's pretty easy to see Springfield baiting him away from what they really want to do at times.On defense AC did stop our bread and butter play for much of the game and you best know someone will key on our QB keeper.Now having the players to carry it out like AC did for a good while and playing a clean game will not be easy for Springfield , but I see these adjustments to countered right now in practice for the Devils.The Devils need to continue their smart play and not block in the back,hold,jump of sides,get personal penalties and the things that dig a hole.This is a great Greeneville team if everyone does their job but a very average team when players lose focus.14-1 is a fine year,but not what any player that wears the Devil colors today or way back in my day wants to see.Go Devils!

A lot of people trolled the Greeneville threads this year saying it was an easy road for the Elizabethton vs Greeneville winner to make the state finals and bring back gold.AC made sure that didn't happen.They said it was an easy championship now with those teams from Knoxville moving to 5A but I have to remind folks that none of them won anything in 4A last year and it was a team from out west that took home gold.Nothing is easy this time of year and AC had a team to be proud of.I look forward to next years game and hope your great QB is healthy because I never won't to see a young man hurt for my team or any other high school team.

THIS...Both Alcoa and Maryville are on different levels compared to other east Tennessee teams their size .Thank goodness I can atleast take my family to see a NET team that is getting it right at my old school in Greeneville.Id love to get to Alcoa's yearly level of play and see many championships like you guys have come back to NET

Greeneville has solid line play on both sides and that is always a great starting point for keys to a victory.Very solid defensive backs and monster running backs.Some awesome wideouts and a guy at QB that is everything you have read about.All that and one of the best coaching staffs in the state make for a very good team when they show up and take care of business.They made a lot of mistakes against AC and if not for a huge team effort and one superman defensive back,it could have all ended.Because of that,this Greeneville team should be very focused this week and not listen to any crap about how great they are that takes away any of that focus.If the Devils or Springfield make a lot of mistakes and turnovers ,it's either teams game.

Congratulations to Cade ! I just wish they would change when the awards were given out and do it after the playoffs are finished.
