Sweetwater will be to physical for Central, and they have a better defense and offense then Rockwood, and it’s at SW and since the Meigs game the schedule has been tough, and Central has been taking a beating and I think it’s starting to show. Not much, a lot can happen depending on the last games. If Meigs beats Marion and Polk beats Bledsoe then Marion is out and the finish would be. 1 Tyner 2 Meigs 3 Polk 4 Bledsoe. If Marion beats Meigs and Polk beats Bledsoe, then Meigs is out and the finish would be. 2 Polk 3 Marion 4 Bledsoe If Marion beats Meigs and Bledsoe beats Polk, then Polk is out and the finish would be. 2 Marion 3 Bledsoe 4 Meigs IMO the most likely outcome. Meigs beats Marion and Bledsoe beats Polk. 1 Tyner 2 Bledsoe 3 Meigs 4 Polk I think I got it right lol

I was wondering the same thing. I looked at the scores and they had 28 points scored in the first quarter, Rockwood 21 Central 14 did the defense for both teams stay at the home?

Meigs 544 and the cutoff for 2A 541 I would assume Meigs, Loudon, Sweetwater, Kingston, McMenn Central. Short drive to all.

I think that region is a little better than some think at the top. York just played a good game against 4A Gibbs and Monterey play Bledsoe Friday night and most say Monterey will win soundly, and supposedly Rockwood had several players out in those games. I will go with Rockwood by a couple TD’s Rockwood is a physical hard nose running team and that’s what Central struggles with.

I beat that no one said before the season that MC could finish the regular season 4-6 and TC could finish 1-9. And there’s a chance both miss the playoffs. How crazy is that.

That’s some sad news. I think it’s Tyners year, you guys are well balanced on offense and tough on defense against the run, I think will take a team that can pass the ball to beat you guys. Good luck in the playoffs.

Agreed, I also wouldn’t be surprised if region 3 swept region 4 this year, or they could be better then they look on film. But I think you guys walk to the championship game. We will see in a few weeks.

Good stuff. I truly believe Meigs is the second best team in the region just had some growing pains early in the season with the lost to Bledsoe, but I agree with your most likely scenario, I think Bledsoe beats Polk and I think Meigs gets the win over Marion, but anything can happen.

I didn’t see that coming at all. I watched some of the ER, Westmoreland game and Meigs can definitely play with ether team, and I don’t see any of them playing with Tyner.

It happens all the time. 1A plays 3A & 4A. 3A playing 5A there has been several of those games this year. There’s a good one tonight with a 1A playing a good 4A team and most are picking the 1A to win.

Copper Basin got put out by Meigs, then Meigs got put out by York and yes CSAS is the best team in that district. Tonight York at South Greene at GP at CSAS. I say SG and CSAS move on.

If Meigs loses to Tyner and beats Marion that would put Meigs, Marion & Bledsoe in a tie for second place. How do they determine the seeding?
