Wow Upperman girls beat Meigs 44-42 Saturday night

I would have to disagree with that, and I would say Meigs, York lost to Upperman the last two times by 20+ Meigs lost by 4 in the first meeting in OT, and by 3 in double OT last night. You see teams every year and you know if they were in another district they would go to State easily. Meigs has played in 4 straight sub state game and has lost the last 3 to Upperman and Macon, and I think there’s a good chance those teams will meet again next year.

Proud of those lady tigers and parents, they wanted to do something for those girls, they raised money and got some things they could use, and I think they said Meigs raised over $2,000 tonight and a bunch of supplies for Upperman, proud of this community.

Upperman has a good team and they will be good again next year, Meigs will be good as well, those freshman will have to grow up quickly because those seniors played a big roll for this team, they will have a really good sophomore, that will play a big roll as well.

Macon is really good but Bradley is the best team I have seen this year, there size and speed makes it really hard for any team to match up with them. But I do agree that Macon win this game by a lot.

Poor schedule.

Macon wins by 20+ at home, that place will be rocking Saturday night, believe me I know because Meigs got to experience it last year lol, RB will be the bigger team and they will score if they get the ball instead, but they don’t handle the ball very well because they lost their PG to a knee injury, Macon should be able to put a lot of pressure on them and turn them over. I say it will be close the first half and then Macon will pull away.

Listening to the radio, they said if every game was as sloppy as this one, they would quit watching high school basketball lol, said both teams played really sloppy and the officiating was terrible. Again that’s just what they were saying on the radio

I believe you’re right, those two teams are really close and play a lot alike. Macon will beat Red Bank handle at home, they are big but they will get tired quickly. Safe travels to everyone coming to greater Decatur.

They just got beat 42-34, anything can happen come tournament time, there’s already been several upsets.

I think McMinn Central in 15/16. It will definitely be a battle, Meigs played Upperman earlier in the year and lost in OT 58-54 on a neutral court

Westview and Covington play each other, and I will be really surprised if Elizabethton makes it.

They say Greenfield and Clarkrange can play with any team in the state, and if I remember crackle Meigs scrimmaged Pickett earlier in summer and won by around 20, but back to Cloudland and Oneida, I think you guys have a chance but you will have to play good game, because Oneida is a hard place to play, you usually have to be 10 points better to win on the road in sub state. I haven’t seen Cloudland or Oneida play this year, but I have seen a lot of the teams they have played this year, and Oneida has played a much tougher schedule, Oneida beat York by 15 and Cloudland lost to them. I think Oneida is the favorite in this game.

Meigs got up 15 in the 3rd and got comfortable and RB didn’t quit. You have to put teams away.

You hate to hear that about any kid. We played them a couple times last year, and I remember her she’s a pretty good player, Meigs lost their best players earlier in the year to a ACL injury to. I hope she not a senior.

I think Macon has a good chance, and maybe a couple others.

Big shack up last night in the East in 2A, with Alcoa, South Greene, and Northview all going down, the only teams to survive that must where picking was Grainger and Meigs. The biggest shocker to me was Elizabethton beating South Greene, I definitely didn’t see that coming.
