Wow. I think that may be some genuine humility with a bit of class and sportsmanship. WC has a good group of kids, they are missing discipline and direction. I feel though with the shocker that Lebanon gave us WC has some soul searching to do to go beat that team now. Now on to a stout Gallatin team. Where do they start?

If Wilson Central we're the only option I had to send my kids to (when I have them haha) Id home school. If I couldn't do that I'd just tell them to do something to get sent to MAP, or drop out and get their GED. Of course that won't be the case, they will be Bears all the way!

So in observation this week I will say that the WC fan base has done nothing to help out their team on social media. Matter of fact I would go as far to say that with some of the classless, disrespectful and demeaning comments made about MJ players and coaches they "poked the bear". Was pretty appalling. If MJ was in anyway over looking the Wildcats which I seriously doubt I would say their focus will be playing the most completely dominating game they have to date. Golden Bears - 56 Wildcats - 0

You have to understand that there was no cognitive thought behind his comment. He loves to stir the pot. He went from attacking CTP to his own coaches now. He doesn't even really believe his own babel.

Coming into this game: Mt. Juliet 4-0 With it being no surprise to most that Mt. Juliet won over Gallatin, it was a bit of a surprise as to the total dismantling of the Green Wave offense by the Bears who have yet to be scored upon in 2017. Wilson Central 1-3 Does WC have anything for this vaunted Golden Bear defense that seems to be picking up more steam with each defensive series? Does WC have an answer for Zack White's offense led by Glass and Raines? Do they stop the streak finally? WC finally put together a win last Friday, are the Cats getting things worked out in time for their biggest game of the year? What say you?!

You obviously didn't read the part where I said I respected Coach Elrod. In this case that is where it ends. We obviously aren't going to agree on the glaring fact that none of you want to admit how mediocre the program is. To be loaded with talent like WC is, is a direct reflection of how the leadership is lacking. You can not deny the overwhelming under achievement. Maybe it's a lack of discipline, maybe a lack of preparation, maybe a false sense of security, maybe a breakdown in evaluation. I don't know... But it is real. Whether you want to agree or not. Let that sink in. Now I am done.

Well Coach Elrod, next time I submit a critical post I will make sure to ask your permission. Hopefully you can review my rough draft to make sure it is civilized. I respect you, known you for a long time. I don't blame you for your feelings. Biased as they may be, as they should be with all you have invested. But at the same time this message board may not be for some individuals. That may include you. My opinion is my opinion. You are entitled to yours. Again that program is entirely to mediocre to have as much talent as they do year in and year out. How come MJ has been able to do what they have against them for so long with alot of years less talented teams? Maybe WC doesn't put the work in 24/7/365 that the Golden Bears do, IDK.... Friday night is going to be great high school football. 2 very hard working programs coupled with last seasons convincing loss to the Golden Bears, and both being undefeated has brought this rivalry back to it's peak. So much tradition in this series. MJ is excited to face a real opponent, Gallatin is riding high after Saturday's big victory. You can't win in November if you can't win games like this one in the regular season. Bears - 24 Green Wave - 13

No one is busting on anyone. 0-3 is 0-3... You can't sugar coat it. Sorry to offend but I don't see it any other way. No one is attacking any kids either. Actually I feel bad for them. The inadequacy at WC starts at the top. Has been entirely to much talent to come through there to be as underachieving as that program has been. IMHO.
