I hate this KY team! In 1991, they came to Oak Ridge and got out with a win in OT ( I think.) Later that season, OR would win the Class AAA State Championship. According to press reports at the time, the USA Today High School guru said if OR had beaten PT he would have named OR National Champs. Is this true? I can only report what I read at the time.

Didn't OR just play for a State Title less than a year ago? Greeneville did not. Not that either fact makes a darn bit of difference this season..

This is not an attack at osunut2. I like the guy. This is also not an attack at anybody but an observation. A lot of people have ragged on the OR Offense, the OR Linemen, the OC and just about everything that has something to do with the Offense. I have agreed with some of it and been upset by some of it. Now, it appears Coaches changes are being made on the Offense and other positions. Yet people still find fault. Isn't this what you wanted? I like Coach Rodney. I tweeted with him when his daughter played for Oak Ridge and he was at Powell. I have no idea if he deserves to be let go but people pitched such a fit about the OR Offense he was bound to be fired. Those of you who moaned about the offense you now have to live with the changes. Who knows with a different OC we could turn the season around. Please don't get mad at me for saying this.

As bad as things are, we beat Karns and Campbell County and we finish 2nd in the Region and HOST a Playoff game. There is still a ray of hope.

OKAY! I am now officially MAD at the Wildcats. This garbage has to stop because we are Oak Ridge. We are a prideful bunch. We don't want people to "like" us but by goodness they better "respect" us. When I get mad, I double down on the Wildcats. Not only do I THINK Oak Ridge upsets Greeneville but I KNOW it. Strap it on tight VictORy City and paint GREENEville CARDINAL and GRAY. If you pick against OR this week then expect to eat crow with a side of I Told You So for Saturday's breakfast. Ha. Oh, Sweet, I will stop using your " ha. " It just is too cool not to copy a few times. Ha. See?
