  1. No need for a new thread. The first key for OR is the play of the OL then the DL. Second is does # 2 run the offense effectively. I think # 2 will be okay but the OL and DL may need several games before we know how good they are. Know almost nothing about HVA except for the RB Dykes. Both teams will have to limit the TOs. That may be the key to the whole game.
  2. Message received. Do reserve the right to talk about Tee here though but no Clemson talk.
  3. LOL. They won't play each other because little orange will never be good enough to play against Tee, Amari and the Purple Tigers. #WRU #ALL IN #National Champs Remember, I said I didn't want to start nuthin but you asked. RWR!
  4. I found the info on Twitter with a picture of David shaking the hand of a Calhoun manager. David did a good job on this, as usual.
  5. Dykes will get his yards and two TDs. The same for Graham. Stewart to Caleb will keep HVA defense honest. Like OR's Kicking game. Like OR's young play makes like Booker and Pendergrass. Should be a real close contest. Both teams may make several early season mistakes. TOs may be the key. I'm a homer so I'll take OR 21 HVA 17. RWR
  6. Don't want to start nuthin, but Clemson will orange crush the vols.
  7. Not sure if this was posted...Calhoun's will play host to the coach's show on Wednesdays at 8PM.
  8. This is a real drill that the Cats do? Man, I would love to watch Jordan do this in a real game? LOL
  9. Thanks PA...best of luck to you and dem owls in the Finley scrimmages. OHS got a lot better teams to play than Hixson. The H-town Wildcats have Sales Creek and Howard. We should take Sales Creek with ease but you never know what Howard will put out. Come December, lets hope OHS and ORHS are dancing in Cookeville. RWR
  10. Blankenship is where the good Lord put it and ain't nobody going to move it. Last year on Gaddis' Coaches show, David Clary asked the players what was needed to make the Ship better? If my memory is correct, a Jumbo Tron was mentioned the most and artificial turf second. Some players even expressed that there was no need to switch to arti turf.. I cannot remember what Jordan Graham said but I think he didn't mention the turf issue at all. My list to improve Blankenship: Home side seating Press box and locker rooms All bathrooms Big Ed's Pizza in all concession stands Jumbotron new fence around field New track around field Artificial turf ****** I believe the turf is coming this winter.
  11. Does Jordan look even faster on the artificial playing surface?
  12. I hope many of the Maryville fans post on how they think Oak Ridge did after the scrimmage. The Reb fans know their football.
  13. Let us know if the OR line shows some fight and gets better during the scrimmage...and thanks for the updates.
  14. I totally agree unless OR scores more then we win lolololol. Just kidding.
  15. Coach Gaddis and the other coaches know more about this team than anybody. He probably already knows a lot about next year's team. Several people have tried to answer your concerns but you have not moved a single inch in your opinion. It maybe time to put this issue to bed and readdress it after the games have been played. RWR
  16. When was the last time we gave Maryville any problems in a scrimmage? I hope the Wildcats come out and surprise people by actually looking improved from last night. If OR is to have a great season this team has to be the kind that improves from week to week. RWR
  17. Great job guys on providing information on the scrimmage. I learned a lot from you all. I followed Simpson this summer on twitter. He worked out with a group of East Tennessee high school players and attended college camps. In a tweet promoting him, the head of the group training the east TN players said he was being over looked and was a playmaker. In the same tweet, Simpson spoke optimistically on this season and the Oak Ridge program. Who was our place kicker? Was it the guy from last year or did we lose him to a soccer injury? RWR!
  18. Only Chattanooga Central's Purple Pounders gave Oak Ridge a game that season. Central's coach, the legendary Red Etters, would later go on to coach Chattanooga Baylor. My wife is a Central alum and when we got married we were living in the house Coach Etters lived in during his Baylor days. I would go down in the basement and talk about Oak Ridge football to see if his spirit was in the house. It wasn't. We sold that house and now live in Hixson. No ghost in this house either LOL.
  19. I voted for Oak Ridge but Fulton and West are tough. Basically, I just want OR in the playoff..
  20. Are the days of David Clary being able to raise money to broadcast scrimmages over? When WATO was alive, David spoiled us with all his hard work to bring scrimmages and games on air and online. Too bad times have changed but we still have his prepradio.com to keep the out of town fans in the loop.
